Gypsy Girl: I DID NOT diagnose myself. If you want to see a small handful of the mental illnesses that I have then check my profile and please don't be so quick to pass judgement on others when you do not have the whole story to pass judgement on.

I do have OCD Severe but I didn't know if this was an aspect of the disease that I did not know about, so I just thought I would check with you all. (Thanks)

I think it is normal to be wordy for some people. Let it be ok because you are ok the way you are. No, you are not nuts it is just something your going through. Be gentel with yourself. You are worth the effort.

No, I think it's part of being you--your personality. Don't worry about it. I can be verry wordy sometimes too, but it's just a quirky thing about me. Sometimes my friends will make fun of me for it, but I've tried to accept it as something that is just part of me.
You are not OCD because you are wordy. It has nothing to do with that disorder.
If it really bothers you, try limiting yourself to a certain amount of question per day/week. Or tell yourself that you can only reply to answers in 50 words or something.

Being extrememly verbose (did I get that right?) does not sound like OCD.

Being wordy has nothing to do with OCD. I really wish people would stop trying to diagnose themselves. It does more harm than good. If you have a problem with your own behavior that you are unable to control, go see a professional counselor. That counselor can refer you to an appropriate provider if necessary.

I don't know about wordiness, but perfectionism is part of it.
