my friends and i play basketball, i realized that they had more suppleness than me cuz when we are stretching up b4 a game, they can bend their knee and make the back part of the feet to touch the gluteus and they can bend their ankle like a ballet dancer. but i cant, i dont have their type of flexibility so i have a few qs:
1. is it true that a more flexible means that u can bcome taller?
2. how can i improve my flexibility?

thanks

The only exercise known to increase height is Pilates. However, what it does is regain height that you have lost due to compression. If you are in your 30s, likely you can get some height back, but if you are in your early 20s, that's about as tall as you are getting.

Flexibility can be improved by daily stretching exercise in the areas you are trying to improve and 4 oz. fresh squeezed lemon juice, no sugar, daily (this from a circus performer in his 60s).

Id rather have my Flexibility rather then a lot of strength. some times because i used to be abal to move my hands from behind me to the front with them handcuffed but i worked out a lot and now i cant do that any more.

I might suggest a combination of coaching procedures. Calisthenics are predominant as good as force coaching received from weight lifting. Daily stretching of 20-half-hour can also be critical.

its not true that the more flecible you become you get taller thats just a myth.
i remembera few years ago i used to do dancing and when i wanted to learn to do the splits i prasticed everynight when i was watchign t.v.
So what i'm try to say is if you want to become more flexible just prastic at what you want to be flexible at.

1) false. they are unrelated.

2) stretching every day can improve your flexibillity. strain a little but not to the point of hurting yourself.
