As a non religious person I like to pose questions that provoke thought (and maybe a little something else) in those who have such stifiling beliefs that they fear the natural process of life. Loosen up and live a little. If there is a God I doubt he/she/it is going to be upset that you enjoyed your life, body and short time on this planet.

I don't get annoyed if the question is genuine and if the questioner doesn't ask the question in a way such as this: "Why are Christians such idiots?" "Christians: Why are they all such hypocrites?", etc.
I can loosen up and live a little with the rest of them, but I dislike being called a dumb idiot.
All Christians are not the same.
I welcome any sincere question. The unkind ones and ones that are posed as an attack........those are annoying, to say the least, and say more about the person asking that kind of question than they do about the group of people being questioned.

That does it! I'm telling God on you! Just kidding sweetie. I think a lot of people blindly follow what they are told without ever thinking it through and I think if they do have questions or doubts, they are too afraid to ask. So there may be many parts of their faith that they don't really understand, but are afraid to admit. Therefore, when someone asks a question that makes them doubt their belief or that they don't know the answer to, they become defensive. But I'll always answer your questions to the best of my ability.

I'm a Christian and actually come to this site on purpose - to answer questions (to the best of my ability) and to enjoy all kinds of people - even the sarcastic ones. Now, I don't enjoy the mean ones so much - but even they are occasionally funny; and I love the various spelling and typos - many are LOL funny.

OK - next question (include insults if you must - I can take it!)

God Bless (oops - my bad)

First of all, God has made "Him"self known by the male gender-not she or "it". Secondly, as a theist, I have no "stifling beliefs" that cause me to "fear". Third and last, whatever your idea of "Loosen up and live a little" is, I tried that when I didn't know if I believed or not, and all that did was land me in the hospital to receive a blood-transfusion from alcohol poisoning, so- no thanks. It's been time well spent not "loosening up" these last ten years.

I don't mind being questioned about things of God. I enjoy having a conversation with people that don't believe. I enjoy hearing other people's opinion. God wants us to enjoy life, not sin. I have gone through hard times and good times like everyone else. I have sinned also, like everyone else. Knowing Jesus just gives us a hope that the future will be different, that we can depend on something greater than ourselves. I have been without and with God. I chose to be with Him.

I have no problem with be questioned on my beliefs, I have a problem with people who post all Religion is a lie or why Christianity is the only true way to become saved or enlightened and then post a website ridden with holes created by a 7th grader as their arguement. I encourage open religious discussion; I think it builds us all mentally as well as spiritually. All I ask is that we keep it civil, each to his own and respect on that point.

religious people can enjoy themselves to a certain point, because the body is the temple of the holy spirit. So you cannot do anything you want, but you can enjoy life too.

"Why is it so annoying to religious people to be questioned on thier faith.?"

I don't know since my Bible tells me "but in your hearts regard Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect, having a good conscience, so that, when you are slandered, those who revile your good behavior in Christ may be put to shame. 1 Peter 3:15-16

So I'm always happy to answer people's questions about my faith.

Hello Christ say: "They fear questions and become defensive because they are either not knowledgeable about their faith, and thus mindless robots...or they feel a quiet jealous rage from being trapped by illogical assumptions. Choose now."

It's not annoying if the questions are sincere, but a lot of the time, it is people negatively challenging rather than trying to genuinely understand why we beleive what we do.
