You will get a ticket because those are dealer plates and easily traced. As a side note: Please don't run red lights ;-)

Sounds like your talking about a red light camera. If you have temporary plates they are registered to you just like metal ones are. If the camera was able to get a picture you should get a ticket. Some dealers have a cardboard sign with the dealer name where the plates are normally mounted. If this is what you have then I don't see how they would find you. The dealer may get charged with running the light instead.

If they catch you you might get two; one for running the red light and the other for having no tags if your temporary dealer plate has run out. The dealer tag is either registered to you, the dealer you bought the car from or the individual if you bought it from somebody. Both would most likely tell who they sold the car to and even if they didn't all the police have to do is see who the car is titled to. They are pretty good at tracking down people they want to get money from.

omg, why do you even have a license when you don't know the answer to such simple questions? YES, you will still get a ticket once the pull you over. and what do you mean "where to send the ticket" they give the ticket to YOU with all your information written down on it about the car ...since the car is registered to you or will be registered to you, the ticket will go in the system under your name ...it finds your name because your information is at the secretary of state (All OF THEM) either because you have registered the vehicle or for WHEN you register the vehicle. Pay the ticket.

just so you know having a cardboard sign instead of plates can get you pulled over just as easy as running a red light.

Temp plates are hard to read by traffic light cameras. The best thing is to wait and see if anything comes in the mail.

Yes, as long as the camera took a picture of the temoporary registration. It's a registered vehicle, just as if you had plates. They know who the temp tag was issued to, and they know where you live.

those cardboard plates are the same as regular plates the registration should be in your name OK so if you have any traffic violations they will know where to send the ticket and if the police stop you they will know you and where to send it

id just wait and see ,the camera may have missed you on this one,but if it did ,don't take any more chances with it,you usually don't get too many breaks like this, but all you can do is wait and see if it got the temporary plate, good luck hope this helps.

Yes, you still get the ticket
The cop probably wrote down your vin#
and he can trace that back to the dealership you bought the car from and the dealership has your address and the dealership also regesters the car with the dmv.
