I'm guessing you mean health insurance? I believe it's still Tricare since you can still be seen on base, but I'm not sure if it's called the same thing.
And if you mean life insurance, it is now at $400,000. The only way to have it be less is if your husband requested it be less, but I believe it has to be no less than $200,000.
My husband has his set up so each other the kids will have enough to go to college and I'll have enough to pay off the house and survive long enough to get on my feet.

he is correct, every service member is automatically enrolled for the max amount of $400,000 unless they decline the coverage or get it changed to a lesser amount. I don't know why anyone would though, it only costs about 25 bucks a month.

medical insurance would continue under TRICARE for your children until they would have been dropped due to age or graduating. You would retain covereage only if you did not remarry. you would eventually have to transition to Tricare for Life however, at the appropriate age.
