Go to Crutchfields online store. It will ask you to put in the specifics about your car and then only show you decks, speakers, and other items than can be installed in your Impala. Once you have found something you like, then search Best Buy, Circuit City, Amazon, and any other places you want to get the best price. I will tell you that your probably not going to have alot of luck with Wal-mart for a receiver. Speakers are not an issue, but receivers are. Once you find the best deal online, call around to shops in your local area and see who will match the best price you have found and do the install for free...as most shops will install for free if you buy from them. Make sure as a part of the installation they will use the OEM adapters and not just rewire. Good luck with finding the system to keep you rolling down the highway.

Circuit City has a good selection of car radios. The cost will vary wheather or not you want a CD with your radio. Believe me the prices on car electronics is cheap for a really good system, like Panasonic, Kenworth, and even Delco..

Also you can go to a "junk yard" near you and get any type radio you desire including the original radio from your 2004 Impala. Be nice and they may place it in the dash for pennies.

If your impala has a RDS radio you will need more than a different radio. The RDS radio is tied into the body control modlule and other on board systems. To change the radio will not allow you to change certain settings on your impala.

Go to the Crutchfield web site. They have an excellent selection and will help you pick out a radio. They also provide adapter plugs to match the radio to your wiring harness.
