Well, yes. That's where The Other People come in. See the article of that name on my 360 page. Entry for March 29, 2007

The men who wrote the fictional anthology of myths, known as "The Holy Bible" had no concept of genetics or heredity. That is also why a rib from the male Adam, with XY chromosomes, could not have been used to make Eve, an XX female. Surely you would think an Almighty Lord would know this, but he was busy and failed to remember to tell the guys making up the Bible. His mind is everywhere at once. But when Geisha Christ begins her shamisen song, all the mythological Gods and Goddesses seem to remember to stop and have a listen.

I'm still wondering why people believe that the ancestor of the entire male species was created by a Magical Man breathing into dust.

And don't forget that EVIL EVIL talking snake with legs. Because you know, animals speak in human tongue. That makes SO much sense.

It's pretty obvious that this was a story created by ancient men.

Genesis states that Adam and Eve were the FIRST man and woman. It doesn't say that God didn't make any other people. Cain and Able had to reproduce with somebody. It sure wasn't their mom.

Adam and Eve would have been made close to perfection, and most likely disease-free. Remember that back then, according to Scripture, people lived for hundreds of years.

The degenerated state of our bodies that makes incest dangerous developed over the centuries. Also, with more and more people and more and more families growing on earth, incest would be, well, too ingrown.

That might be because Adam and Eve is a story not history.

There are two theories. One is there were other humans. the "proof" for this is that Cain married a woman from Nod, or something silly like that.

Two is that DNA was so perfect that it couldn't get messed up in imbreeding, in addition people lived to 900 years back 6000 years ago (..........) so they had lots of different bloodlines quickly.

Duh.

"no because they were perfect and so were they're genes. the problems inbreeding causes today come from weak genes and genetic defects. they didn't have that cuz they were perfect"

LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

now i know why Christians are retarded
all of them came from the same genes
that explains everything

There were no side effects, because their children were closer to perfection. As the human family branched out, they grew further from perfection, and incest was no longer safe or actually needed.

Adam and Eve had no defective genes to pass on. Defects didn't come along for several hundred years. Pops
