As has been stated before, weekends are a lot busier, but weekdays are still fun. Everything that happens on the weekends, also happens during the week. Most shows and clubs will use Monday as their weekend. Many will also be closed/dark on Sunday (rare, however), Tuesday, or Wednesday (again, most places will re-open by Wednesday). If you want to see a lot of shows, just remember that there will be fewer times to see those shows as they will not be performing during certain days. If you want to go to clubs, many will be closed for at least one day while you are there. And when they are open, they will not be as crowded. As well, if you go during a weekday, you can find that a decent tip gets you better service and a better room (try tipping the front desk clerk $20-$50 at check in and see what kind of room upgrade you get). If you go during a weekend, the place will be packed. Gambling will be more expensive, clubs may be more expensive, your tips better be higher if you want better service (and a tip less than $50-$100 to the front desk clerk may not get you a better room). But if you are there to party hard and money is no object, then the weekend is the best time to go. You will see that the people who go to Vegas during the week seem to be more interested in seeing Vegas than in partying. There will always be lots of people walking the strip taking pictures of all of the properties. On weekends, you will see more of a party crowd there. Better dressed people will be seen, and everything will be going on. If you do decide to get the full Weekend experience, just make sure your hotel reservation is lined up ASAP, find tickets to the shows you want to see now, and even make reservations at nice restaurants that you want to eat at now. Either way, you will have fun. I have been to Vegas both during the week and weekend, it is a slighty different atmosphere, but fun nonetheless.

I know exactly how you feel. There's a diet I tried called the Celebrity diet (I had to pay 11.00 to download it online) and it sounds like it would be perfect for you.

*DONT DELETE THIS YAHOO* (I'm not selling anything).

Basically what it is, is eating minimal amounts of certain foods until your one day of the week where you can eat whatever you want, and then you start over. The thing is that by the time you reach that day, your stomach will adjust to not eating so much, so you get full faster and don't gorge too much.

There's many more details than that and I recommend looking at it. I never thought it would work because I don't trust many of the answers I get on here for weight loss, but i lost 5 pounds the first few days (I didnt even reach the gorging out day) unfortunately I started a few days before thanksgiving, and now im getting my butt back on it.

check it out, just look up the celebrity diet.

First two respondants: that's rude. If it were really as simple as "have some will power" all of America would be thin, wouldn't they? Willpower is hard thing to get and keep, especially since our bodies are programmed to eat.

Basically the best thing is to plan ahead. If you know you're going out with freinds, tell them in advanced not to let you be bad because you're on a diet. Don't keep any 'bad' foods in the house and have plenty of fruits and vegetables that you can snack on liberally until you're too full to want to go out to get junk food. In fact, go ahead and plan your whole menue for the weekend during the week. It may seem extreme, but it works.

Just stick to your diet and make sure you drink a half gallon of water a day!!

and when Saturday comes around you can have that as your junk day.

i do this all the time and keep my weight the same.

just make sure your ready to start that diet over on Sunday.

don't let the food win. and you can do it.

oatmeal or egg white
grilled chicken breast, broil fish, tuna, small piece of steak the size of your palm, brown rice, vegetables and fruit.

no soda put 2-3 pounds on you each week if you drink it 3-4 times a week.

1000 sit-ups a day
stationary bike for an hour or jog for 30 minutes
leg squats
leg cruels

3 sets of 30 on leg cruels and squats.

good luck

i would definitely agree with Lisa who succeeded through Weight Watchers... I have no willpower and need my snacks and treats. By doing ww i lost weight and have kept it off, and still enjoy my treats. It really teaches you the basic principles of how to balance what you eat.... so most of the time i do the right thing, then have my treats as well. it changes your mentality so you are not on a diet, you are changing your lifestyle. i have now maintained my goal weight for about a year, i have reached the point where i do the right thing during the week, and then have treats etc on the weekend when i do more socialising. it really becomes second nature and i have no desire to eat crap all the time....

The key to lose weight and keep it is to detoxify your body first. When you have too much toxins, you can not go to your body to get the energy, and all your energy only came from the food you eat. That is why you exercise and feel hungry all the time and can not lose weight. There are many things you can do to help lose weight, like eat every three hours, (Is not what you eat, is how you eat. You can eat almost anything, but avoid big meal), drink green tea, exercises 30 minutes daily. And most importantly go get massages for several months. If you can found somebody can do the Detoxification massage in your area, you should be able to lose 20 to 30 lbs in several months and keep it.

One, concentrate more on increased exercise to encourage weight loss. Two, plan ahead. If you set up what your meals will be BEFORE the weekend, you have a better chance of making it through to Monday without completely derailing yourself. Three, maybe your plan is too restrictive. If you find you can't live with it for 7 days, you should probably look for some other system of managing your food.

I suggest this: stop dieting. Really! You are putting way too much pressure on yourself to adhere to plans that do not mesh with your lifestyle. Consequently you set yourself up for disappointment. Rather, I suggest that you incorporate good, healthy eating habits in your complete existence. It really works. I have no discipline or tolerance for "diets" -- but I'm losing weight by exercising and eating better foods. Right now, I'd rather have a bowl of chips. But instead, I'm having a handful of unsalted almonds and a bowl of cherries. Good luck to you!

I lost 79.5 lbs. on weight watcher and I never dieted on the weekends. It took over a year to lose it but I had my Chinese, candy and whatever else that I have wanted and I have kept it off for almost 3 yrs and through a pregnancy.

Good luck!
