Okay well i like cookies such as sugar and stuff like that...preferably no chocolate or nuts in them. thanks! got any good recipes - if so please send them my way!

DROP SUGAR COOKIES

2 1/2 c. sifted flour
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 tbsp. milk
1 egg
1/2 c. Crisco
1/2 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. sugar

Mix Crisco and butter. Add sugar and beat well. Add egg and beat again. Add sifted dry ingredients with milk and vanilla. Drop by teaspoonful onto ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten and sprinkle with sugar. Bake at 400 degrees for 12 minutes.
I sometimes substitute lemon flavor or grated lemon rind or orange rind. Good and easy to make.


APPLE OATMEAL COOKIES

1/2 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. honey
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. flour, unsifted
1/2 tsp. soda
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
1 med. apple, finely chopped
1 1/2 c. oatmeal

Beat butter, honey, egg and vanilla together. Mix flour, soda and cinnamon together. Add egg to mixture. Add apple. Mix well. Stir in oatmeal. Drop by spoonfuls on greased cookie sheet and bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes.


BLUE RIBBON FROSTED SUGAR COOKIES

2 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. white Crisco
1/2 c. real butter
3 lg. eggs
2 tsp. pure vanilla
1 c. sour cream
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. baking powder
4 1/2 - 5 c. flour for drop, 6 c. flour for rolled out (flour amount depends on size of eggs)

Blend first 3 ingredients. Add next 3 and mix. Mix remaining dry ingredients with whip and add to mixture. Bake at 375 degrees until lightly browned.
BLUE RIBBON FROSTING: Mix 1 pound sifted powdered sugar with 1/2 cup butter and 1/2 cup white Crisco and 2 teaspoons pure vanilla. Gradually add 1/4 cup scant hot water. Frost cookies when cooled.

INGREDIENTS:
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 cup butter
1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 cup white sugar
1 egg yolk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon orange zest

DIRECTIONS:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Sift together the flour, salt, and cinnamon; set aside.
2. In a medium bowl, cream together butter and cream cheese. Add sugar and egg yolk; beat until light and fluffy. Stir in the vanilla and orange zest. Gradually blend in the dry ingredients. Fill a cookie press or pastry bag with dough, and form cookies on an ungreased cookie sheet.
3. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes in the preheated oven, or until the cookies are golden brown on the peaks and on the bottoms. Remove from cookie sheets at once to cool on wire racks.

1). Magic Cookies
Yield: 3 dozen

1 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 cup light brown sugar
2 eggs
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups oatmeal
1 tablespoon vanilla
12 ounces chocolate chips
1-1/2 cups coconut

Preheat oven to 350ºF. With flat beater attachment, cream together butter, sugar, and brown sugar at a medium setting until well blended. Mix in vanilla and eggs. Reduce speed and gradually add flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt mix until smooth. On a low setting, mix in oatmeal, chocolate chips, and coconut until well mixed. Drop rounded spoon full onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake on middle rack of oven for 12 to 14 minutes.


2).Cookies on a Stick Recipe
Ingredients:
1 box any flavor cake mix
1/3 cup vegetable oil
2 eggs
2/3 cup flour
popsicle sticks


Directions:

Combine the cake mix, oil, eggs, and flour in a bowl. Mix well. Shape mixture into balls about 2 inches in diameter. Insert a popsicle stick into the bottom of the ball (like a lollypop).

Lay the cookies on a greased baking sheet. Flatten each one with the bottom of a glass, adjusting the popsicle stick as needed. Bake at 350F for 10-12 minutes or until done.

Cookie Press Jello Cookies

INGREDIENTS
4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 1/2 cups margarine
1 cup white sugar
1 (3 ounce) package fruit flavored gelatin mix
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 (1 ounce) package fruit flavored gelatin mix

DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (205 degrees C).
Sift flour with baking powder. Cream margarine; gradually add sugar and gelatin and cream well. Add egg and vanilla; beat well. Gradually add flour mixture; mix until smooth.
Force dough through cookie press onto ungreased cookie sheet. Sprinkle with gelatin. Bake for about 12-13 minutes or until golden brown at the edges.
