Can people be Christian-witches? Why or why not.
BTW I'm not but just curious.

According to the Bible no... interesting to see what others think... you cannot serve both God and the devil... For you will hate one and love the other...
P.s dangerous territory.
Edit:
Just because it doesn't hurt anyone doesn't make it right... If the Bible says no the Bible says No and means it... If you are a Christian you are to obey the Bible which is God's words (as well as Jesus the word of God...)

A "good" Christian believes the whole bible, and has a relationship with God/Jesus. The bible says that you can only serve one master. If you aren't on God's side, you are serving the devil, even if you are deceived. I believe that witchcraft is real and dangerous. The super-natural is real, but witchcraft doesn't come from God. If you have a desire for the supernatural, start talking to God and become a Christian. I've seen people healed, and seen miracles happen. The difference between this and witchcraft is that you don't make "magic" happen. Through prayer, God sometimes chooses to break through the natural for the good of people. There cannot be a Christian witch.

mmm good question. that depends on your take of witchcraft. If you mean, witchcraft as in Wicca, then no, because the Bible pretty firmly forbids the worship of any other deity... and Wicca is based on the worship of the Lord and the Lady.
Now, if you think of witchcraft as just that, a craft, a skill set that gets stronger with practice, that anyone who chooses to devote the time and energy to study could do, then, yes, someone who belives in Jesus as their Savior could also be a witch, because then it's not about religion, it's a talent like playing the piano, or singing.

Yes. Christianity is a religion and Witchcraft is a way of life. While it's difficult, mostly because of prejudices from both Christians and Witches, they can be practiced together.
However, a person cannot be both Christian and Wiccan since Wicca, while it follows Witchcraft, is a religion itself.

i am a witch, and i will tell u that i believe in all the gods including the christian one, i do not however believe in all the teaching of the christian bible, true witches walk a life in word honor and deed. we do not do harm to anyone as it will come back on you all u do, the magick we do is for good, and we call upon the powers that be in casting spells to use the powers of the universe and will our wishes to life. but i know no witch that calls themselfs christians, do not be fooled into the way witchcraft is shown in movies and television, thats entertainment, not fact.

They are incompatible.
Many things can "sit on the throne of our lives," but for the faithful, Jesus Christ sits on that throne.
Witches of any kind do not have Christ at the center of their lives, for both the New and Old Testaments clearly describe witchcraft as a sin.

I don't see why they can't . It's better to have some sense of goodness and heart than not whether one fools oneself with incantations or not sometimes they have a positive input and make some poultices that seem to actually work . may sometimes be akin to herbal or alternative medicine without the scientific validation .
Also you don't won't evil "black" witches running around cursing people whether you are susceptible or not .

I asked a similar question (only directly referred to Wicca faith); and I don't think it's possible. The reason being is because: Christianity stipulates that there is ONLY one God; and Christians are not suppose to commit idolatry (worship any other 'gods' ~ or practice divination~or sorcery ~ or follow omens,etc...)
Responses I got:
http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Ak9VrN3aQCRxisOYRaHs9kDsy6IX?qid=20070630085057AAd7Ur7
Scripture references:
Deut. 18:9-11
Galatians 5:19 -21 (Read this one in particular!) The two belief structures clash; so you can only be one or the other...

No. It is a contradiction in terms. The way spells work, by uttering words, is a sort of prayer that is answered. Since it is a power prayer that unfailingly is supposed to happen, it is not and can not be answered by the God of the Bible.
Uncanny power is strictly prohibited for Christians.
