Is there a specific age limit for credit cards? And if there isn't then can anyone of any age (ahem under 18) actually carry a credit card around and sign for it? Or does their parent have to sign for them?

You cannot have a credit card on your own if you are under the age of 18 (you cannot legally enter into a contract so you couldn't get one). You can be added on your parents card as an authorized user however.

If you are applying for a job, you need to have previous credit history or a job, but if you get one of those pre-approved things in the mail...... it may work.
