I always tell the truth, unless you happen to be wearing a badge! I seem to have a knack of telling the truth at the wrong time, though. It gets me into trouble regularly.
I have met someone who seemed too good to be true. Remember the old adage? It's a wise one, Gorgeous.

I do tell the truth. One of those religious hangovers from the old fundie days. I never tell more than someone needs to know unless asked. In my line of work we do not "volunteer" information.
Occasionally I have run across some people who are too good to be true. At least one good friend I have is still like that in my eyes

I try to tell the truth all the time regardless of how the person may feel about it at the time.
For example, when a girl asks me if this dress makes her look fat... I'll tell her either yes or no... Like this one girl I know asked me and she thought that I was being mean... She was about to start crying...
I followed up the statement... Those pants are cut more tapered and they grip in areas that make you look bigger. You need to buy a pair that is a couple of sizes to make up for the difference. She followed my recommendation and they complimented her.
I wish I had not told her the truth because now she wants me shopping with her because of the compliments that she gets from people who see her with better fitting clothes.
Sometimes it's a curse and a gift...

I try to tell the truth...sometimes I find out later that what I thought was true was indeed not. Yes, I have met people who are a little too good to be true. There are great people out here, though, and I think the small minority are too good to be true.
Peace, Love, and Blessings

I do tell the truth on line....sometimes inadvertently.
I've looked back at some of my questions or answers, and wondered to myself....did I really say that? Why was I not thinking?
Of course....Truth is all there is!

Yes i do tell the truth on-line. I see no reason to lie. And yes i've met people who are to good to be true. Honesty is better than lying to make yourself to look better and later be found as a fraud. God Bless and peace to you^_^

I would say about 99% of the time. My life and sense of humor are too twisted to make up. I have met a few but I am very selective with the people I associate with.

If anything it's easier to tell the truth online. No one knows me, I could say I have sex with goats, and not care what these people think of me. Having said that I only lie when it is proper to in the confines of our society, (read: when chicks ask if they're fat/ugly), to save my *** from punishiment unrespentative of the original wrong doing, and for humour (sex w/ goats).
Peace.

I tell the truth, but not ALL of the truth. My private life is exactly that: private.
When posting, my rule is simple: know what you know, DON'T know what you DON'T know. And never, ever, just make s*** up.
