My favorite salmon recipe is very simple. Its called "marinated salmon seared in a pepper crust"
First you maranade 1lb. of salmon for 30 min in:
2 TBSP soy sauce
1 pressed garlic clove
2 tsp fresh lemon juice
1 tsp sugar
then press 2 tsp pepper into each piece of salmon and saute in 2 TBSP olive oil on high heat, usually for about 2 minutes each side or until the meat flakes. Place on paper towel to remove excess oil and ENJOY!!

We have "seafood night" once a month & usually fix grilled salmon along with shrimp & scallop kabobs, loaded bakers, grilled corn & homemade garlic bread!
For the salmon, get a nice filet with skin on & marinate in spicy garlic italian dressing for a couple of hours. Lay piece of salmon in center of large piece of foil, add a couple of cloves of garlic minced, sliced onions & a splash of lemon juice. Seal foil into packet & grill over medium/hot coals til done, rotating every 10 minutes.......20 - 30 minutes grilling time - fish will flake easy when done......
Kabobs are simple - Soak skewers in water for 30 minutes. Alternate jumbo shrimp, mushrooms, scallops, cherry tomatos, sweet pepper chunks & pineapple....brush with garic butter, then place on grill for 3 - 5 minutes per side........Serve with plenty of garlic butter & napkins!!
