Someone broke into my apartment and stole some things. The police said whoever it was knew exactly what to look for and where to look. They also said it looked staged and wanted to know if anyone else had a key to my place. I suspect my boyfriend but have no way to prove it. Everything points to him, but that's a pretty serious accusation. I did ask him if he did it, but he denied it. I think he might be really good at lying. But what if I'm wrong?

It is most likely him - or one of his friends...

In cases like these, the guys gets a buddy of his (perferrably someone you DON'T know) to commit the actual crime - so that the boyfriend has a valid ALIBI.

Especially as one of the other posters mentioned, if drugs (yours OR his) are involved - then the chance is FAR greater that this was an "inside job".

I would end things with this guy - even if it's just because you feel that your personal space has been violated (which it has!!!)

Until they find ANY evidence saying otherwise, you will always feel that your (hopefully former) boyfriend had a part in all this...

You need proof. And, to get proof, you need to set him up.
Set the stage by inticing him of a big score...plan it out and have some friends help you. If he takes the bait, then, you have your answer. Good luck.

Does he have a drug habit? If so, then probably yes. Sorry.
