when that statement in itself is an absolute truth?

So if there is an absolute truth how did it get there? How close are all of us to the one absolute truth?

right on. If I say, "truth is relative" that would make it an absolute statement and contradict itself. but if I say "truth is absolute" that is an absolute statement and supports itself. God bless.

The absolute truth is the truth itself. We, all of us, and everything around us is the absolute truth. Saying that there is no Truth, is to say that there is nothing.

There is no such thing as absolute truth, because it's only truth if one believes it to be true, but that dose not say that it is the truth, even physical evidence dose not constitute truth, there are many examples to the word truth, and that is why there is no absolute truth.

A person can say there is no truth because they have no idea what truth really is:

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. - John 14:6.

I think they are refering to the afterlife, not just everything as a whole.
