Homemade hamburgers can taste fantastic with some really easy flavorings and spices.
The most delicious hamburgers that get the most compliments are the ones my husband and I make with very simple ingredients. There is a pre-mixed spice you can buy in any grocery store in the spice section called McCormick's Montreal Steak Spice. Shake it in generously to your ground beef and add a hint of Dale's Seasoning (liquid sauce found in the salad dressing and sauce aisle of your grocery store). If you are feeling spicy, you can add a pinch of cayenne pepper or a few splashes of hot sauce. The burgers come out so flavorful and juicy!
Another way to give your burgers a lot of flavor is to add Progresso Italian Seasoned Bread Crumbs to your beef with garlic powder, chopped or dried onions, and salt and pepper to taste. (Be sure to use an egg or two to help your burgers stick together).
The Montreal Steak Spice and Dale's are great in any style of burger. They are so flavorful and easy that there's no excuse for anyone to have to eat bland burgers anymore. :)
Lastly, you can add to the taste by topping off your burgers with a rich, thick barbeque sauce instead of ketchup. The Durkee brand Fried Onions that come in a can (the kind that everyone's mom puts on green bean casserole for Thanksgiving) make yummy, easy, and unique burger toppers, too.
Now that your question is answered, there's only one thing left to ask: when's dinner? :)

Melt some butter. Mix in some chopped onions (very finely chopped so they give flavor but not crunch). Add Garlic Powder and Lowry's Seasoning Salt. Mix that into your ground beef and keep some in a tub to brush on as they grill. They will be the most fantastic burgers of your life.
I had a steak a couple weeks ago near Atlanta and this place put a tiny bit of syrup on it while it was cooking. I was shocked at first, but it was really good. Maybe try one burger with that on it.

I promised my kids I'd never add the Lipton to my hamburger ever again! Geez, I never knew they disliked it that much! Stick to the garlic and onion powders and yes add a touch of A1 sauce and a bit of water to add moisture. What ever you do, DO NOT flatten down the patty as most people do out of habit when cooking a burger. All you accomplish is pushing the juice out of the burger and making it dry.

Take 1 pkg Lipton onion soup mix, 1 tsp of garlic powder, 1 tbsp of worcestershire sauce ( yes, I had to look at the bottle to spell it!!) and a few dashes of hot sauce. Mix together well, then make patties.....Grill over medium coals til medium - cheese is optional.......For a twist, serve topped with crispy bacon or sauteed mushrooms.......Don't forget all the traditional sides of lettuce, onion, tomato, pickle, mayo, mustard & ketchup......Yummy!!

I add steak sauce (A1) to the beef, and then a small pat of butter in the middle of the hamburger. Sounds weird, but it makes the inside moist! You can also make stuffed burgers, with blue cheese, Italian style, etc.
Good luck!
