I just started my weight loss plan yesterday and so far its been going well. But next saturday i'm going to boston for a lacrosse tournament and i know we are going to be eating out, then on 7/29/07 my family is going 2 orlando for a week. How can i keep loosing weight during those 2 outings?

I am also considering starting weight watchers too, how is the program and how does it work? if i don't do weight watchers, what are some great foods that i can keep in the house?

Also, what are some great excersises for loosing love handles, tummy, and thigh fat?

How will i look after loosing all that weight....extra skin, stretch marks???

Luckily you weigh enough to where it is somewhat easier to lose a large amount of weight in a short period of time. In your first two weeks alone, you can lose 20-30 pounds. After that water weight is gone is where the problem is. Its easy to gain water weight back. Stay away from too much salt because it retains water. I recommend working out and using weight watchers because they teach you how to eat and you don't starve. Good luck!

Oh, weight watchers gives you a certain amount of points per day. I am on 18 points so I have to eat at least 18 points a day, each week I have 30 extra to do whatever with. I can use them or not- but they can't be saved. Only 30 per week. It really helps put things in perspective. 3 mini- bite size snickers are 6 points. You start to think, are 3 snickers really worth it?

Its very unlikely you can loose that much weight in 2 months and VERY unhealthy. At the most a person should only drop 1-2LBS a week. Even if you excersise for 5 hours a day you won't loose that much weight within 2 months. You should be looking at a year to loose that much weight. You have to stick to a stright diet and excersise plan. Get a personal trainer if you can afford it. I got lapband surgery, I was 214 and i'm 135LBS now, still have 10LBS to go. It took me a year to loose that weight. But thats a dramatic and expensive path to take. So if you diet/excersise fails like it did me, then look into weight lose surgery, but only if you absoulty can't loose the weight. With extra skin and stretch marks, you need plastic surgery to remove it. With some younger folks it sometimes springs back, but often times there is always loose skin. Stretch marks are scars, so you cant do anything about that.

Four months ago, I was 123 pounds, and I really started to become more active. I didn't run for one hour like many of the comments before me, but I ran for 30 mins every other day. I picked every other day because it gives your body time to build stamina and “fix up” for the next work out. At first, I could only run for 5 mins, but within 2 weeks, I could run an hour straight on the treadmill, but then I cut it back to half an hour, but I do harder intervals and hills. Within four months, I became 103 pounds, and I'm maintaining my exercise routine. You can do it! If you are committed and you keep up your routine, you will definitely meet your goal. The best part is that running is free, and you can run around the neighborhood. Also, try some gyms that maybe offering free memberships. Since you are young, many gyms have a nominal “teen” or “youth” membership, and others have free memberships for a month or so. Good luck!!! I know you can do it!

If you are that much overweight, have your doctor put you on an eating/exercise plan.. Also, it's a good idea BEFORE starting any diet/exercise plan to have bloodwork done to rule out any thyroid or other issues.... It's also highly unlikely that you'll lose that much weight before your trip-so enjoy the skin that you're in and have a good time on vacation... Plan the weightloss results for next summer... good luck and be well.

Find the nearest concentration camp and ask if they have any vacancies. Seriously though, it is not possible to lose that kind of weight in that short a period of time. Life lasts a lifetime, your weight is not something you can overcome overnight, either. Trust me, once you start taking care of yourself the other stuff starts to fall into place and you will realize that it's the journey not the destination that really matters. Be well
