I work the night shift and get home at about 7:30 to 8 am
I pass by this lake on my way home in the morning and there is this big tree ! on this tree is a bald eagle nest!
we have been watching this couple for years raise their chicks! but lately I have come to realize that when I am sad or work was tough for what ever reasons(hospital) , the darker of the two is sitting up there and watches me ! then I get the feeling that all is well and sure enough it is all good!

how ever, if I do not see him up there I get a strange feeling about some things and stuff does go wrong!

any thoughts???????

Birds in general are messengers of spirit. Do you know that the earliest form of oracle was augury - divination through the actions of birds? I have paid close attention to the birds that come my way, and once, I had an experience with one that altered my life significantly - forever.

Eagles are a major totem spirit - in the medicine cards, they literally represent the Great Spirit, the connection to the Divine.
They hold the energy of balance, being able to soar in spirit, yet remain grounded.
To have them come to you indicates it is a time to take courage, an opportunity is available, for you to go beyond the mundane levels of your life.
"Eagle asks you to give yourself permission to legalize freedom and to follow the joy your heart desires".

I would continue to notice them and how you feel when you do - just as you have been. Very cool.

I have this weird thing with turtle doves. The day the Columbine school shootings happened, I was sunbathing, relaxing, listening to this coo from an unknown source. (did not know what bird it was at the time) but it sounded so very sad and melencholy. Since then, I can count at least eight other random times the sound of the doves would be followed by something sad, or stressful for someone I knew. Weird...since we are on this sort of thing, kinda, I have for years, seen faces in wood grain or floor tile or curtain patterns but never a face I recognized until last fall .I looked down at the rug and clear as a bell there was my sister face looking very stressed but only as big as a dime! I kept staring trippin out on this, next day my sis called and had to leave the woods ,(elk hunting) because she had a bad reaction to prescription meds, had to drive three hours itching from the inside she said. Weird....

The "strange feeling" is all. I find that my attitude and view of a day's occurrences and signs will add up to give me an overall score for the day. A sign works like an omen or even a voodoo curse. It works because you believe it works. Belief is a powerful force, and it is up for grabs as to whether a thing happens because you believe it or whether a thing's continual occurrence brings you to belief in it. Causation is unknowable in this kind of situation. But if you have a system that works, stay with it and allow yourself a "road out" for the inevitable day of change, when you will have to find a new sign and harbinger. Best of all is to greet the bird and allow whatever happens to happen without the anticipation or fear that a presupposition may bring.

It's possible that you have found your totem animal. The bald eagle is a gaurdian spirit for you, when he's there all is well, when he's not, things go wrong (even spirits have to take a break every now an then). Very few people in this day and age have that sort of connection, and I would consider myself lucky if I were in your shoes.

I would make it a point to enhance the positive connotations of the eagles and not put too much on the negative such as feelings of anxiety. Since logistics guides you to see these beautiful creatures as you go through life, you should take that as a positive token and be thankful for the chance to have these creatures in you life.

That jogs my memory of a time in Bristol city Centre as quickly as I observed a seagull eating a pigeon. there replaced into blood everywhere. A cat I had years in the past as quickly as further domicile a packet of frozen burgers. The strangest issues i've got ever seen replaced right into a 2 headed canines

God is always there whether the eagle is or not.
Maybe it is that your mind is trying to find a pattern where there is not one. Or maybe it is a sign. The only one that can determine or believe this is you since you are the one experiencing it. But it is always good to take comfort in nature since He made it =)

We all have our idioms that follow us. How they start is just as baffeling as the thought itself. But some how...in our minds... it works. Makes you wonder what the 'Grand Scheme' of things really is.

But...in our minds WE put 2 & 2 together and comes up with 6. Hummmmmmmm.
Ok, Ok, doesn't make sense to me either.

I would go with exactly what you think it means. I love aligning with the birds of prey.

This is all working with the subtleness of our feeling mechinism. At the moment that you realized that you were being watched by a member of the animal kingdom. How did it feel?

THAT, is full-feeling.

Thank-you for sharing this.

To Life Eternal.

Just a sign. I feel the same way when I hear the sound of an owl that's in a tree on my house. I hear it & it's all good. When I don't - something/someone will make my day bleek...... It's aura I guess.
