only after you're dead

No, it is never too late. Though the practice of the Christian Church from the beginning has been to baptize its members as infants, many adults are also baptized each year. There is no age limit.

If you have not been baptized, don't wait.

In the book of Acts, every conversion specifically mentions baptism and these converts ALWAYS were baptized immediately! None of these converts either ate, drank, slept or continued a journey before being baptized!

We are not promised another day so that we can obey Christ "later". "For He says:“ In an acceptable time I have heard you,And in the day of salvation I have helped you.” Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation." (2 Corinthians 6:2)

Many people are distracted, killed or injured suddenly and never have the chance to do many things they have planned! (car crashes, sudden illness, distractions of temptations, etc.)

Jesus commanded baptism. If you love him, why would you want to delay in obeying him? You must obey Christ if you are to be saved! (Hebrews 5:9)

Baptism, one of these commands, "saves" (1 Peter 3:21, Mark 16:16) and is "for the remission of sins" (Acts 2:38). Why would someone want to wait for this salvation? You should obey Christ as soon as possible!

"And now why are you waiting? Arise and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord.’" (Acts 22:16)

Never,

Technically you can get baptized to become a member of the church and then receive the last rites a few moments later and you will still be considered and official Christian.

it is never too late to get baptized. This is the public proclamation that you believe jesus christ is our lord and savior. I assume that you have been saved since this is the first step before you are baptized.

It's too late once you're dead--unless you believe in the apocryphal claim that baptisms should be done for the dead without their permission. Baptism is a voluntary act whereby one publicly associates themselves with the body of Christ, so any time one obeys Christ's command to do so it's not too late.

No. You could be 100 + years, and still be baptized.

I personally think that after you are dead would be too late.
Other than that, no, it is never too late.
Repentance is what baptism is about, BTW. The rest is just a ritual.
