Sounds like a nice book title, doesn't it? Anyway last night a had a really weird dream. I can only remember bits and pieces but I can tell it has a deep meaning. It started off where I was going into my basement to let the dogs outside and I see this guy standing at the bottom of the steps waiting for me. The basement is huge and a lot different than it really is. It's dark and cold. The guy presents himself in an evil way and I realize I'm trapped. He asks if I want to join him, but I was afraid to say "no". I don't say anything and I turn and see these slaves digging into the dirt (in my basement). The next thing I remember is that I was in a huge castle and tried to escape because I knew it was literally Hell. As I was running up hundreds of steps on a spiraling staircase the guy appears in front of me. I hear moans ecoing through the castle (no smart comments lol). He grabs my shoulders and throws me into this pitch-black dungeon. He shoves a sword in my hand...

The Devil kicked me into this dark dungeon after I ran from him and slammed the door shut. This serpent-like beast lunges at me. It was black with shining orange eyes. I remember I slayed it and moved on. The next thing I remember is that I'm in the main part of the castle, like its from a Resident Evil game. I'm climbing ropes up a wall and this dragon busts through part of it, trying to knock me down. I keep climbing and hear "the Devil" discouraging me. Later on he forces me to be his slave and I remember literally crying saying "I just want freedom" lol. Throughout the entire dream I was expecting to be put in "the lake of fire" at any second. Eventually I went back upstairs to my room "from the basement of Hell". The apocalypse was near. I had the final world events literally mapped out and I was trying to prevent it. Really weird dream...

Well, your going into a basement represents going into a low place spiritually in you life. There are some things which you are doing in your life which is causing to you go into the low place in your life. The slaves you saw digging in the dirt represent people who are a slave to sin. The castle you saw represents Satan's kingdom and you being in it. And because you are in his kingdom (in the dungeon) you are his prisoner and a slave to sin and he is going to make you work for him. That's why he gave you the sword. You are really in some kind of spiritual warfare. The huge serpent you saw represents the lying and deceitful nature of the devil to decieve you. The dragon you saw represents the warfaring naturing of the devil to send attacks against you through trials, demons, people, and tribulation. But according to the end of your dream you made it back upstairs. The maps represents a direction, course, and destiny God has for your life. Okay, take care.

maybe you sinned something that you regretted.... then you tryed to make up for it be saving the world you might have played resident evil the day before
