Well.... if there's no one there you're going to look a bit silly and perhaps be somewhat lonely
And before some one points out that God would be there.... He's everywhere... one doesn't need a special building
And, yes, I know that "church" is the people not the building... but in that sense no one is at church 24/7

this is all laughs, church is a mixture of things many of which including boredom, attempting to induce guilt and extortion (taking my cash to help keep me out of hell/get a better house in heaven).
