Well, it all depends on where in Florida you live. I know some parts of Florida have contracts with one company prohibiting the entrance of any other company. In which case you need to look at the deals provided by that company. There are also some parts of Florida (Tampa, St. Pete, etc.) that have multiple companies in cities, thereby lowering the price because of competition. If I were you, I would get Cable internet and then get a prepaid phone or a company that's cheap and reliable like Alltel/Cingular/T-mobile.

not too sure on this question. i live in central fla and have embarq, formerly known as sprint. my service includes includes the landline and my dsl. it's a pretty decent plan since my phone rings a lot and i'm usually on the computer a lot. the dsl is pretty fast and since i have had my computer's memory boosted, it runs like new. i don't know but maybe embarq has a service just for internet service, wouldn't hurt to look it up. good luck

Get Mediacom. They have alot of different cheap services for customers. That is the way to go!
