She is driving and that is why I am jealous. Just being in control of the car makes me want to do it. I'm 14 on Friday so I will get my permit next year but my license in 2 years. That's soo long. She is mean so that contributes. She goes every night to practice and talks about it all the time. She always finds ways to bring it up with relatives too. It is so annoying. And the fact that my parents won't let me ride my bike anywhere besides around the block and she will be able to drive places. I can't even ride my bike to DQ because "it's too dangerous" and its really not. Soon she will be driving to church and stores and I don't want her to. Should I go around the block with her to get used to her behind the wheel. I don't want to look at her in the drivers seat because it might get me mad. I know that this is weird but I need help tp GET OVER this jealousy. I'm a boy too. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!

Dude get a grip, she is of age and its her time to do this. You should be happy for her just like youd want her to be happy for you when you get to do things. Youre a family, and youre supposed to be supportive. Shes excited about her new independent step. Try being proud of her and tell her that. Maybe if you hear yourself say it your attitude will slowly change.

hee hee i dont mean to laugh but you'll be okay. It is only natutral to want what your older brother or sister has... Your time will come, there is no way you can get the same benefits of an older child unless you were her twin. But you will live , just focus on what you do have and appreciate being 14, dont spend so much time being angry at stuff you will eventually be able to do, because before you know it you will no longer be 14 and your memories are not going to be so good.

There's a saying, "change the way you look at things and the things you look at will change". This applies to everything in life, not just birthdays. I'm assuming your sister is older so she waited her time to get her permit and license. Once she has her license she'll be able to take you places you want to go. Instead of being jealous look at the advantage of having a sister who can drive. It's all in how you look at things, grasshopper.
