He said he was released 4 months ago and was "just SO happy to be able to talk to people" He was so upbeat, interesting AND interested, extremely fit and good looking and friendly that I asked him why he had so much Joi de vivre on a Tuesday night....
he answered me by saying he would'nt lie and that he had been in prison for fraud...thats already questionable in my book (the fraud thing...I mean what if he was being Half honest and was really a murderer or whatever) and so I kind of told him I was unavailable but out of interest, would you date someone who told you this?
My personal choice would be to avoid, assuming the worst, the bigger picture let's say and also due to my career, I could'nt get invovled with someone with any sort of shady record.

I have a shady past and I do really well with girls but I wouldn't bring it up on the first date...either he thinks he's really clever for doing a bit of bird or he's completely remorseless for his crimes. It sounds like you are the opposite by what you say about your job etc so I would steer clear...I would actually advise girls like you to steer clear of me but sometimes that makes them more interested! On the other hand...find out a bit more about him...was it a one off and out of character or is he a wrong 'en? Maybe the charm is fraud!! I know mine used to be!

see love knoes no boundries and if he was up front with you from the get go then you have nothing to loose but you may have jumped the gun but as you said that you cant date him so its not a question but you have convicted him again with out knowing the person yes people do bad things and they do time for it but do you think that its fair that he put him self on the line and you shot him down like that not even well we can be friends ..

If you are worried about your career and this could effect your career in anyway, I suggest not to do it. Otherwise if you want short term relationship, then thats fine but not recomended for the long one. I think he is being honest with you otherwise he could have lied completely to save himself from trouble.

The title of that question is just so funny. I guess there are lawyers everyware lying for the sake of the clients, and jail apparently changes people.

Seems he got caught for fraud, so he isnt as good at lying then some people :).
