I would talk to your vet first as she might have some sort of problem. It may be related to her age, organs, could be an infection but it sounds like it is possibly serious and your best bet would be asking a profession; a vet is defiantly the best option.

Your vet will run a urinalysis to rule out infection or other health problems, and if all is normal then she has developed incontinence. This happens to some females (usually spayed dogs) as they get older. The sphincter to the bladder gets weak and urine can dribble or leak out. There are inexpensive medications that can control this. Some are given once a week, others once or twice a day.

Is Jenny spayed by any chance? Some breeds, especially Dobermans, can develop incontinence after being spayed. This is something to ask your vet about. Could she possibly have a urinary tract infection? I would call the vet and see what he/she thinks.

She may have a "weak bladder". Any animal can suffer from this. If she's just a pup her bladder may get stronger as she ages. It is not "life threatening" but more of a nuisance than anything else.

hi,
we have two dogs who "leak" too, each for dif. reasons, but recently we got a supplement from our vet that cleared up the problem nearly overnight...its called Proin 50
they will have to get bloodwork done before giving that to you for the dog's symptoms, its standard practice, to rule out any possible umknown health issues that may be causing it, but youre NEVER going to know if you dont get that done anyway-its well worth it..
One of ours does it now cause she is really old, the other from massive hip, and pelvic injuries as a pup when I found her left for dead after being hit on the highway that are now causing her the same symptoms 10 yrs later, the vet at the time told me this may happen so I kinda knew why hers started--both our dogs same as yers, 100% housebroken, but until recently we had wet spots from them leaking all over & now its like nearly gone completely..its not that exp. and well worth it!
Hope you can get your dog in soon, to get checked out at a vet and get on the Proin 50-its like a magic bullet for our 2 dogs!

Honey your dog is having a blatter issue and you need to get her to a vet. That's not gross or anything like that, it's serious and you need to get her in. How long has this been going on? She could be in pain to and you wouldn't know it. Please take her in and get her checked out asap!
PS
John, you're an idiot!

Yes you should be concerned. She could have a UTI (urinary tract infection) or something worse. Is she spaid, this could be related as well. You need to call your vet and talk to them about it. My bet is that they are going to want to see your pooch ASAP!!!
