No, he will not. It says in the bible. God regards this as a selfish act. You are not thinking about your friends and family and how they would feel. Suicide is the ultimate selfish act and God does not reward this with a free pass to heaven.
It sounds like you really need some help. It can be hard living but 10 years from now you will be glad you did not end it. LIFE is a gift. From God. You should feel blessed and lucky and fortunate to be on this earth when so many others have far worse problems.
YOU need to go get this movie today -- The Secret. You are the master of your own life. If your life sucks right now it is because your negativity is attracting more bad situations and more of what you don't like. It's called the Law of Attraction. Whatever vibes you put out, whether positive or energy, will be granted to you by virtue of God and the Universe. PLEASE, go get help... and rent that movie. ASAP

You gotta understand that suicide is the easy way out of a life you no longer want.
Its also not fair.
Your emotions may be telling you that youve lost everything you could, but your mind should tell you that where theres life there is hope and space for improvement.
You should remember, that you won the race when among millions of sperms, yours made it to the end.
And among all the problems people have, so many people chose to hold on and fight their way through lifes problems.
Suicide is unfair, because there are so many people who are in worse situations, and they never chose to end their lives like that.
Suicide is not a solution to the problem, but an escape that is against everything people have taught their children: hold on, dont be scared when you fall down, keep your chin up.
Were all gonna die anyway, why not die a fighting man, rather than a giver upper?
----
from the religious point of view, Id agree with Pangel, but she must be forgetting that when you take your life, your taking a life, that was given to you, thus it is no different than taking the life of another man. But its worse because you die, and you have no means of asking for forgiveness :( Ofcourse no one can say what God will forgive or not, but in almost all religions, suicide is a sin.

I have experience with mental illness, in which a person was definitely not responsible for their actions. In such a case I believe God woud forgive. According to the Bible there is one unforgiveable sin; that is blaspheming the Holy Spirit.
I am sorry if the situation you described is you. You sound very rational but troubled. There are hotlines you can call in every large city. I've felt as you've described and one thing you can count on -- it will change. Even at the lowest point, things do get better.

God doesn't send extremely mentally ill people to Hell. If you are conscious of what you are doing and you know it is wrong and that it is not your only option, you are not "extremely mentally ill."
Why live if there is no love or happiness? Because God gives you the free will to go out and find new love and new happiness.
Suicide is a selfish permanent solution to usually temporary problems. Believe me, I am not taking it lightly as I have been suicidal myself in my teenage life, but I couldn't do that to my mother/brother and sister. As an adult, I could never leave my child in that way.
I will not lie though. If my daughter were burning in a house fire and I knew she was already dead, it would take a miracle for me NOT to run in there and die myself. Without her, my life would be hell anyways.

Taking heaven and hell out of it, God or the higher power is not cool with suicide. It is the greatest gift to be born as a human, and the greatest loss so die without realizing it. Humans were given the chance to experience creation in a unique way, God wouldn't be happy if you didn't take advantage of it. Don't worry about hell or heaven, you will eventually return to the source, just it will just take a whole lot longer if you commit suicide.

Well, mom has always said that if you kill yourself then God will never forgive you because you were being selfish and send your soul to hell. But I doubt that. I mean, if God knew you were unhappy, then he'd understand. He'd be disappointed because it is indeed very, very selfish. Even if you think you have no support group, you have God, and plenty of guardian angels watching over you. Just keep you head up and stay with God. I have no clue who you are but suddenly I don't want you to leave us. I've been through the same sort of stuff. Suicidal things. I got through it. Counseling. Medicine. It'll all work out. Please, Please don't do anything rash.
I'm praying for you.

I don't believe in god but If he is as loving as he is portrayed then he will forgive you. If you have feelings or thought of suicide please get some help talk to a family member your trust or a councilor there are also many hot-lines you can call.
this is for Bugsey. If you believe that the emotion shock from losing your job is not enough to make some ppl snap get your butt into school take some psych classes ok cause that's complete crap. You are surely are not educated enough to make that call.

Is suicide EVER acceptable with God? Yes John 15:13.
Is suicide acceptable in the case above? I would be inclined presently to say no; realizing the limitations of 1 Sam.16:7. After all, one may cry now; but joy comes in the morning (paraphrased scripture?) i.e. things change quickly.

1) Depression and severe depression leading to suicide is a medical illness. If someone dies from a heart attack or cancer, is it wrong? If someone dies from depression and commits suicide, if it originated from a medical illness, surely God knows that!
2) People who commit suicide (like the suicide bombers) are treated differently. They have committed a wilful action of hurting others and destroying the God given body to them. That is a sin.
3) People who end their life because of overwhelming difficulties in life fall in a different category. They have often been manipulated like a puppet by Satan. At other times, the trials given to them by God was too overwhelming for them (although it is said that God never tests us more than what we can endure). Is it a sin? Who are we to judge and decide? (thou shall not judge, lest ye be judged). Our role is to be compassionate towards people who suffer.
Lastly, God knows that although we try to commit suicide, in reality all we did was end the body. Our soul, cannot be destroyed. It is his and his alone. Since, he knows that no matter what we do, nothing can happen to the soul, he can observe our actions in silence and full compassion knowing that we can never be lost to him. Of course, he will forgive if the soul repents sincerely!
In short, let us not judge or try to comprehend the mysterious ways of an infinite God with infinite wisdom! I am sure not all suicides are judged the same!

From what we can tell this is not the case most of the time. You're better off staying in the game. After all, we cannot always see past the valley we are in. Life is pretty long. I am waiting for it to get better too.
Technically that is up to God. He is the last authority on what He is OK with. I am not ready to take this away from Him.
