going to church is obedience to God's word Heb 10:25....
I have a relationship with Jesus... my beliefs stem from that relationship.... I don't really think biblically that you can have one without the other... because of the above quoted verse and obedience show God we love Him.. John 14...

Not a bad question. Now what is a few Christians in the course of History and the six billion on the planet at the moment?
Now for a correction. The verse you quoted tells us that it is hard to find the path and stay on it. Few is a relative term and can be quite a bit. Perhaps few find it because the other seems so right and tempting. Tolerance and acceptance are nice concepts but often wrong and have little to do with the Christian faith.
I go to a Church that shares my beliefs. I will listen and in necessary pray about any issue I feel may have Merritt. All Christian faiths should believe in core issues and those that are not core can be debated until the cows come home. The Apostles creed is a good look at those core issues. A good example about a non issue would be how wet do you need to get to be baptized. Did Jesus make real wine or grape juice. Should women be silent in Church.
You are right that there are a lot of false Churches. You need to know what you believe and watch out for those groups. The biggest ones in the Christian faith would be Mormons (come on you knew I was going to say that), Jehovah's witness, and if you venerate Mary and the Saints in the Catholic faith you could be on dicey ground.

What church that a person goes to is meaningless. The relationship a person has with Jesus Christ is the only thing that is important. If a person has done what the Bible says to do in order to be saved, then they are a Christian, and will spend eternity with God, and Jesus, who truly is the Messiah.
Out of the masses of people who have lived, both before Matthew 7:14 was penned, and after, there truly are very few who have found the way. Many are deceived because of their own beliefs, or deny what the Bible has to say.
Is Jesus Christ your Savior, or are you relying on your personal goodness, or comparisons against others as being better than they are. Works will get no one to heaven, but works for the Christian have a bearing on eternal reward.
There are many false converts, and some know it, and sadly, others do not.

First of all there is no right or wrong church. What matters are your beliefs and how you treat people. I can't tell you how ironic I think it is when people tell other people that their church is "wrong". What gives them the right? Needless to say, what matters are the beliefs. Also, who are you to judge about who is a "false convert" or not? You might want to read Matthew 7: 1-5.

Unfortunately, I suspect that you have already answered your own question. Passing through "the eye of the needle" is not, in my humble belief, something one can obtain by wearing a label or showing up at a church service. It seems to me that it has nothing to do with being Christian, Muslin, Hindu, Pagan, or whatever. Instead, it has everything to do with attempting to be truly insightful in an extremely personal way. Blessings...

HE rose
follow HIM
worry not what others do
the road to salvation is narrow
the road to salvation is treachorous
the road to salvation has been mapped
the road to salvation has been appointed a Guide
the church you go to should encourage you to read your Bible
edify you and Praise GOD, and be helping you get ready for HIM for HE will come for all of us someday to judge righteously and cut off from GOD all iniquity
HE has Risen

My faith in the God I serve matters more. It's your personal and spiritual relationship with God that's important. The church you attend is a building. The true church is within you, it's your soul.
Great Question!!! It gave me pause.

what did jesus say about it? Revelation 2 and 3...ONLY 2 of 7 churches are found teaching his TRUTH at his second advent....so 2 of 7 isn't many "christian" churches....he also says in revelation 3:10-11 that many will LOSE Their crown/Salvation....and in Matthew 7:22..that MANY shal say to me we healed in your name etc...and I shall say to them I NEVER KNEW YOU!
lots of frauds. few real teachers. freewill for all souls.
good luck!

Jesus is the only way to salvation.
No church or organization can save anyone (without Jesus).
No person is able to save themselves.
