That is the ninth commandment and no one is perfect with the 10 commandments so here's an interesting question?Have you ever heard of this before if you are looking for a new job never say anything in a job interview that you had been fired and what should people say if they get asked by the interviewer and we know that honesty is the best answer ?

Always tell the truth. The majority of employers now a days do back ground checks and call previous employers, they will and do find out the truth. If you lie and they find out there goes your job

I think that lies can be philosophically argued to be to a "greater good" but I do know the"Way of the Master" training is trying to get at the bottom line of depravity in man.

Unfortunately, I personally don't feel they go far enough in their theology. If they're going to say that man is guilty, then why stop at mostly guilty? If he is destined for hell and stands condemned already before the Lord in his sins, then "all you have to do is accept Jesus" goes right back to being "innocent enough" to be able to choose, which they are supposed to be denying!

To me the logical result of this error brings us right back to works based religion and doing at the amusement parks what the Jehovah's Witnesses do door-to-door.

if the employer is a respectable company they should respect the truth, so tell them the truth. better for them to find out that you were telling the truth then for them to find out you were hiding something.
