I don't believe in God myself, & I just recently became atheists because I find a lot of people in church don't practice what they preach & this man just told my best friend this.

This 1 man I know is so mean that earlier when my friend told him about the plots & that she needed him to be around to protect her, he said that she wants to get rape & that she's looking for getting rape. & he said she may as well enjoy being raped since she likes it rough. & then he laughed in her face. Now is that a true church man or what?

I DO believe in God and do have a deep faith in Him. However I agree with you, many, many people in church do not practice what they preach. Many Christians say "the biggest obstacle to Christianity is Christians." We are not all like that; some of us try very hard to practice what we preach and are ashamed of ourselves when we don't.

However to answer your question, I don't understand why atheists go to that section either. I am not disputing their right to do so. However I compare it to me and tattoos. I don't care for tats, don't know anything about them, etc. I certainly would not go to a question about tats just to "slam" the person asking the question. I respect other people.

As far as the man who said that horrible stuff to your friend. He may go to church; however he is NOT a true believer. He is a hypocrite.

You realize what I have spotted on right here? The handiest questions that see the atheist/theist combat are questions directed especially at christians or atheists approximately this designated debate. When any individual asks a query approximately the that means of a bible verse, or if anything is a sin or anything, it's by and large left by myself by means of atheists. Everyone has a proper to be right here, proportion their reviews and supply recommendation. If you do not trust it then probably the advantage of one other opinion will enhance you, as a substitute than immediate you to desire the ones with differing reviews away. This web site is approximately finding out don't forget? I could additionally love to factor out that I went to a catholic college for thirteen years. I am brimming with advantage in this discipline, and traditionally I reply questions due to the fact that I realize what I'm speaking approximately. Now I am an atheist however it does not imply I misplaced my advantage approximately catholicism.

Those who never had a religion may be curious as to what religion is all about. Some, unfortunately, just come to R&S to rile people up. It might be better if atheists had a section all their own--but people are allowed to ask and answer questions in any category that they'd like to.

Yes, some of the religious are hypocrites - those are the bad ones. We must remember, though, that not everyone is bad.

To you actual question, most come here to bash and troll. As for the second part of what you said, many don't practice what they preach, but most do. As for the rest of what you said, huh??? If some woman is talking about plots and stuff, she sounds like a paranoid sczho, so wouldn't believe such nonsense anyway. It's very illogical rambling nonsense if you haven't noticed.

That man is NOT a Christian. Christians are not like that. not if they are true Christians. you shouldn't let people like that sway you, because that is not how we are. And it's certianly not the way God is. but to answer your question...Atheists are just cold hearted people, and I feel sorry for them because they refuse to see the truth. they don't WANT to know the truth....one day we will all find out who was right, and from the way this world is looking now, it won't be long...

This forum is a discussion about religion, and it is appropriate for both bonbons and brickbats. I wield brickbats, in an effort to get people to actually use their brains, examine the evidence, and come to the correct conclusion that the notion of god is undemonstrable and useless.

I'm here for many reasons... a *drink*… and:
- Interest.
- To learn.
- To teach.
- *TRUTH* MATTERS!
- Religion ... is ... Dangerous!
- Networking with atheists (new!)
- Religion affects each and every one of us.
- The Xian Bible advocates my death! <<<<<<<<
- The Xian Bible says: KILL 2/3’s of ALL humanity!
- R&S Theists can *grossly* misrepresent science.
- R&S Theists can *grossly* misrepresent atheism.
- Blatant discrimination up to the Government level.
- It’s an inalienable right, TYVM – get used to it!
- It's ABOUT R&S... NOT 'for' R&S.
- It's kind'a fun.

And From Y!A’s 5th Horseman:
Is asking, "Why do atheists care about religion?" like asking, "Why do peaceniks care about war?"
“Why do conservationists care about urban sprawl,
why do capitalists care about communism,
why do dietitians care about trans fats?”

And From Y!A’s New Dog Owner:
It was all well and good when you kept your superstitions to yourself, but when you began your campaign to tamper with science education, interfere with medical advances and tried to turn the U.S. into a nation of religious xenophobes it became clear that we needed to respond and not let your shallow and self serving interpretation of the bible run rough shod over the rest of the country.

If you're going to be an atheist, you need to learn to form coherent sentences and stop rambling.
