how do i get Jehovah witness to stop coming to my house?

I have told religious groups to stop ringing my door bell but they do not listen.

At times, a question such as this will elicit dozens and dozens of elaborate schemes to spare a householder an unwanted conversation with Jehovah's Witness door-to-door ministers.

All such schemes are a complete and utter waste of time!

Many of your neighbors have figured it out, and it's really quite simple:
1. Open the door
2. Smile (optional)
3. Ask "Jehovah's Witness?"
4. Receive affirmation
5. Say, "Thank you, but I'm not interested"
6. Gently close the door (slamming is rude, but your prerogative)

Please recognize that Jehovah's Witnesses are not primarily interested in converts, but in working to obey Jesus' command to preach (Matt 24:14; Matt 28:19,20).

How ridiculous, just be polite and say you are not interested.

The same as if a door salesman comes to your door, you have been given a voice and the will of free speech.....Jehovahs witnesses are no different to any other unsolicited caller to your house no reason to be rude.

the more people say nasty things about Jehovah Witnesses, the more I know Jesus was right about saying he was hated and we would be hated also. if you come to the door naked. so. many of Jehovah Witnesses are married. we seen it all. if you come to the door with a gun, we can have you put in jail for harming us. if you have your dog attack us, we can have the dog put down. if you want the witnesses to stop coming, tell them to put your name on the do not call list. you don't have to be rude. not all the time a Jehovah Witnesses is knocking on your door. you would not want us to be rude to you if you came to our door. we do not solicited. our books, watchtowers and awakes and bible studies are free.

I know the problem - have gone through the same. I think Jehovah's witness' are very kind and loving people - although they are just way off doctrinally and a sect.
I would lovingly tell them that they need to respect a man's decision not to want to be bothered. Period.
Usually they will leave you alone.

Make sure that it was Jehovah's Witnesses that came to your door that you told you were not interested, a simple "I'm not interested and please do not visit my home again." is all that is needed. Don't assume that every person who comes to your door with a bible is a Witness.

Get a red pentagram and hang it upside down on your front door. It works every time. I have one permanently laminated and hanging up on my door. I told all my friends why and some of them did the same thing.

Well I know two people who have accomplished this

One friend asks them to come in and pray the rosary.

The other answered the door completely naked and now they don't even walk in front of the house and his house is right next door to their church building.

BTW, i wouldn't recommend a bear trap or answering naked cause i sincerely hope that not every time the door rings it's a JW. Also, don't put anything ANTI-religious, cos that'll entice them. It'd piss me off anyways and i'd prolly take a dump on your front porch or something.
