OK :-| Everytime i go to IE i can browse around a bit and such, but when i go to close it, and sometimes when i DONT go to close it, a thing pops up saying "IE has stopped working a problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program." ............................

I love my new computer as i am a researcher/writer. But this is VERY frustrating. ANY IDEAS on how to fix this?

THank you in advance :)

I have an amazing Idea. Use Firefox. IE has way to many problems. I've been using Firefox for about a year or so, and not one error has come up. Firefox is the way to go.

I agree with what Linux OS said. Vista is nothing more than an XP update. XP was just an ME-98 update. Windows hasn't had a true update since Win95, Same with IE. There is an old saying: "New tires on an old car doesn't make that car new." Basically Vista is the new tires on a really old operating system. Try Mac or Linux. You will be much happier.

Sorry. Thats just the way it is with Vista. The program stops working and shuts down as a feature of the OS. Its a step up from XP freezing totally and needing a hard reboot!

Try Simply Mepis 6.5 Operating system. Forget viruses. Forget crashes. You have to learn about Vista so why not learn about a system that makes sense... Linus Rocks, besides, it's free to own, download, and forever upgrade. And icing on the cake, comes with about every program imaginable, and ALL FREE

question : y r u using IE ? its slow, full of bugs, and most viruses come from it.

use another browser like Firefox, its faster than IE, it blocks pop-ups, and almost no viruses can infect ur system through it.

Get a Mac. Fewer users equals fewer viruses.
