I would like to know if duck eggs are safe to eat. Also how much does the taste differ from a chicken egg? Also do they have more fat than chicken eggs? If they do how much more?

You can eat duck eggs, they taste about the same as chicken eggs, and their fat content is about the same as a chicken egg. As with all eggs, duck eggs should be collected as soon a possible after they are laid and kept refrigerated.

Yes indeed. They are good. The yolk is usually a little thicker but the taste is about the same. In Europe duck eggs are prefered for baking as the make a lighter cake. Also meringue made with duck eggs holds up better and higher.
