We were given a glider's cage and it needs a scrubbing & we'd like to give it a fresh coat of paint. What type of paint will be okay regarding their health, in case they chew on it, etc?? Also, the female is carrying at least one joey (new for us). Any special care for her?? Any other newbie glider tips greatly appreciated - thanks...

You need to use a non-toxic paint that sould be safe for babies and resists chipping. Go to http://www.sugar-gliders.com for good info.
