earlier today, i was eating some bean burritos. i was eating them rather quickly, and swallowed a large amount at a time. then i noticed that when i swallow, i felt a discomfort on my side/back. it still feels that way, only when i swallow. i have been a bit gassy lately. is this indigestion?? i can't get to the doctor right now, so i please need your help! if it's indigestion, what can i do to help it and when wil it go away?? i just took a pepto bismol tablet.... i'm desperate for help! thanks in advance!

It sounds as if you may have swallowed a bit of air when you were wolfing down your food. If you don't get any relief from the pepto - try some Tums to help break up the air pockets and gas. You should be fine by morning.

It sounds like acid reflux. Maybe try taking some Prevacid or Xantax.

Don't be one of those people scared to take medicine because you're scared of side affects, it's probabaly nothing more than heart burn. Take the best or let it rest!!!

yes. deffinately indegestion. no need to worry. take a tum or two. they work amazingly and franky i think they taste amazing too! lol. but yeah you'll be fine. classic signs of indegestion
