Every now and there is this reddish pinkish thing that comes out of my male dog's you know what and i don't know what it is! I know it's normal, but I don't know why it's there or what its purpose is.

That is your dog's penis. The regular colored part you usually see is only the protective covering called the sheath. Don't worry. Seeing it poking out once in awhile is normal. There are a few sites in canine anatomy if do a search should you want to learn more.

This is what the dog uses when it is ready to mate. Don't worry about it, every boy dog in the world has it and lets it out if it is excited or sees a mate.

If you're talking about your male dog's penis, then the reddish-pinkish thing IS the penis. The other bit that you can see all the time is the foreskin/sheath.
If you're talking about his butt, then it sounds like some sort of parasite and you need to get him checked out.

If it is a male dog then well it is normal, that would be his penis. It happens and a lot of times we don't know why. This can also happen to male dags that have been fixed. Well now I think you can figure out what it is for.

I'm pretty sure you're talking about his wee wee. (Isn't that the technical term for it?) Yeah, I thought if a boy dog was neutered, he wouldn't get a hard-on anymore, but that is not true. My mom's dog is neutered, and every time I come over to visit, he gets "excited" (if you know what I mean).

That is actually his you know what the other thing is just its protective sheath. My dogs always comes out when hes really happy or was just humping pillows.

they need it for peeing and it's alos what is used for breeding. they will stillhave a pennis if they are neutered

That is his penis and he needs it! That is how he urinates and it is also used for breeding.
