Proved that God could not be both immortal and omnipotent. Good one...but the bible does provide a loop hole here...If you believe the Jesus was God (in the flesh) then the answer would be yes. He dies...but just came back to life. (Kind of like the Highlanders.) So it is possible to immortal and omnipotent. Sorry.

Congratulations...You have just paraphrased one of George Carlen's funniest lines. (i.e. Can God create a rock so large that He himself cannot move it?)
Actually, my guess answer would be "Yes." Perhaps the better question to ask yourself is exactly what IS imperishable? So long as one insists on trying to frame the idea of God into the limited image of oneself, they will never have a clue...Look for a much larger truth, and by grace you and I may stumble upon it. Blessings....

God has the ability to do anything, but he is not allowed to do anything. He is bound by his own laws. For example, God can't do anything evil, because he is not evil.

For that to happen there would have to be a separate God in the first place--there isn't.

"Immortal" means he cannot die.
Did you think about it before you posted this question?
