we go to college and are in a couple of clubs together. i think about her all the time and we say hi when we see each other on the way to class or in the dining hall. I wanna have sex with her, but I don't wanna "f" her. I'd rather make love (believe me, there's a difference) and when we get done we could cuddle. I saw her talking to a guy before school ended and i got really jealous. then I found out he's gay and i didn't care anymore. Whenever I see her my heart speeds up and I get really nervous. What should I do? Is it lust or love? I was planning on asking her out when school starts again. I didn't earlier because i didn't think it was fair to date her when she lives about 2 hours away and I have 2 jobs. I'm planning on asking her shortly after school starts and am terrified of it. I'll try and do it but I don't know if I can.

forgot to mention... if she wanted to wait until marriage for sex I'd be alright with that. well, kinda, i'd want to have sex but I could live until I got married. I wouldn't dump a girl just cuz she won't put out.

Life is too short to not take chances my friend. Ask her out - try to summon every bit of confidence and courage you have. If she says no - well, then at least you can feel good knowing you took the risk and you know the answer. If you never tried though, you'd be wondering if something could've happened for the next few years.
Lust or love? Right now, I'd say it's lust with a crush mixed in. Yes,you have real feelings for her but you can't truly love someone until you know them heart and soul. I kind doubt you can know that if you haven't even gone on a date. Goodluck!

purely physical / chemistry.............. get some sex if u can afterwards the truth will be apparant: love is when u can tolerate someone even when they work on your nerves, love is day out day in being together and loving it. There's no way to determine if your infatuation is love but: it sounds like puppy love with the jealousy and all! Go for it and play it by ear u be the judge of love r not!! you'll be able to tell

So ask her out and put the sex on the back burner until you are sure about her feelings and yours. Be respectful and she will appreciate you a whole lot more. It is fun and easy to fantacize, but you don't want to ruin something that could be a very good thing for you. Get to know each other first.

I would not say love, because you don't know her..
I would not say lust because of how you described the way you felt..
I think you won't really know how you truly feel unless you do ask her out.. so get out there and ask her out before you go nuts.. lol

It's lust, since you don't even know her, never dated or even talked to any degree other than 'hi'. You need to slow down, though. Take it easy. Your hormones are controlling your brain. Make friends with her, get to know her over several months before rushing into something. You two may not even be compatible!
