whats your view on body piercings & tattoos on women?

Question

I have 4 tattoos, A scorpio sign & a Taurus sign designed specially for me, on my shoulder blades, a tiny butterfly on my upper right arm with my eldest daughters names & a large baby sleeping on clouds with my 2 Angel babies names, it has got the new uv ink, I love them but think sometimes when I see women covered in them its a bit much, I also have my tongue pierced that took a bit of getting use to, but I would never have any where visible on my face pierced, curious to see what others think about them? thanks

I have two tattoos, 0' gauges in my ears, regular peircing in my ear, and a nose ring, and I've never heard any of the guys I've gone out with complain about them...period. In fact, they all think that they're "hot."

But then my parents and grandparents think that they're stupid and trashy and ask me why I have to "De-face my beautiful body with such filth."

So I guess it all really depends on the person and their tastes.

I Have 6 Tattoos And 19 Piercings! I Think Body Art Is Beautiful, Particularly If The Tattoos Are A Reflection Of Something Which Means Alot To You. I Agree That Women Covered In Tattoos Isn't Particularly Attractive, Particularly Those With Butch Tattooed Upper Arms! Yours Sound Lovely Though, The Zodiac Signs Must Be Quite Unique Since They Were Designed Specially For You And I Think Having Family Members Names Tattooed Is A Lovely Gesture. I Have A Few Facial Piercings - Snakebites And Eyebrow, But I Understand It's Not For Everyone. People Who Make Sweeping Generalisations About Women With Tattoos And Piercings Being Unattractive Are Narrow Minded. If You Feel Comfortable With Them Why Not?! =]

Piercings and tattos can look really nice on women ,it depends the place u got them and their designs and colors.If a woman have many tattoos and piercings would make her look weird and not femine.

At least I have a skull tattoo on my foot and people like it even my parents when they found out..lol

I also have piercings just ears and I dont use my tongue ring and nose ring anymore. I wanted to get more tattoos but I wont because I may regret it when i get old plus people judge u if you look a lil different than the rest of the girls and for some reason if u r getting a job u may not get it.

tattoos are forever, piercings you can take out and almost forget you ever had...

In general i think people- not only women, should really think of what kind of tattoo they are getting. Some people just get them for the sake of getting one and THAT is tacky. I think tattoos should have a special meaning, and it should be something that when you wake up 20 years from now, it will still be something you want on your body.

P.S. women look REALLY tacky and GROSS with calf tattoos... those are just plain not classy...

If it is done tastefully then it is fine. There are ways to be inked and pierced and still be feminine about it. It is all about staying classy!

I have one tattoo, on my foot, and there are more to come I'm sure. I also used to have my lip pierced and it was quite cute on me, but not practical for a new mother at the time. (3 years ago)

i have 5 tattoos and 4 piercings not including my ears, i have never had a bad word from any1 about them (except off my mum of course). in tattoos i have 2 largish ones on my back, my star sign on my neck, a rose on my arm which i do regret and my b/friends name on my stomach. i have my top lip pierced my tounge my belly button an down below, at the end of the day tho i like what i have an i dont give a damn what any1 else thinks!

my view on body piercings and tattoos on women is
that if a women was to have a body coved in tattoos it is good
only if they are not dark

Yours sound fine. Some tattoos on women are extremely sexy. Others, very meaningful. BUT, yes, they can be overdone. I like seeing a woman with a pierced belly button, again, I thing it looks sexy. Any piercing to the face isn't attractive. Not counting ears of course.

I agree. Minimalist tattoos that aren't seen generally are really nice plus discreet piercings can be sexy. Just don't think you should go OTT when it comes to tatoos and piercings, facial ones are a personal turn off for me

I am not a fan of tats, when I see a really good looking woman with tats I feel disappointed piercings who knows ears are ok nose might be ok a jewel in the navel piercings are ok as long as they do not get out of hand. but tats well I if you honestly want to know my overall opinion of tats on whoever, they are in bad taste and not attractive at all, I have admired the work sometimes but over all I could do without even seeing the work,

I have one tattoo (my sons a tattoo artist) on my left breast (top part of it) a bird of paradise, I have my tongue pierced & my eyebrow pierced......my son did the piercings for me.

To me, that's enough, I think too many tattoos lack class, but that's my opinion.....what other people wish to do with their bodies is completely up to them......I'm not their judge & jury.
