It looks like a glimmering light in the dark forest! Oklahoma and Arizona have shown great strength in passing laws to keep immigration legal. I hope it sends the illegals packing and reminds business owners that there is a national law already to not hire illegals. If it works, the American popuation in Arizona may just double. I think a lot of us would like to retire to the southwest but haven't due to illegals. Now if only the rest of this country would grow a set of b*lls maybe we can just bypass the feds and make our country great without their ridiculous crap! I wonder if Ted Kennedy is crying himself to sleep?

Why can't she run for President? I think I'm in love with her...

Seriously, I hope this works and I hope it avoids any real scandals (as opposed to made-up ones). Hopefully it will be a model for the rest of the nation.

Yes, it can work if it is enforced and if they can keep it out of the federal courts. I suppose AZ must tread softly without softening the impact upon those who deliberrately flout the law.

No the part that makes me the maddest that the law is being challenged by those who are illegal. Why is it that law biding citizens can not enforce it's laws, but illegals that have no business being here, get the courts to in their favor and for their behalf

If one discovers cancer cells that has developed into a tumor, you schedule surgery and remove the tumor to stop the spread of the cancer cells ?? Once the tumor is removed and the body is free from cancer cells , one can live a normal , healthy , productive , and ILLEGAL FREE life !!

Not until the enforcement of the law kicks in. That always seems to be the sticking point. We have good laws now but no one pays any attention to them.

I don't know. But it may get them out of some of the jobs Americans DO want to do.

I'd like to believe that! What will happen is they won't live in AZ. Other states will have to take what AZ won't!
