does anyone know if its possible to wear 2 contacts in one eye??? like one colored one and then on top of that a clear one that has prescription in it??? im just wondering! i know it may sound like a dumb question!!

i know someone who accidentally had 2 contacts in one eye once, but she said it was sooo uncomfortable that she had to have it checked and found out that there was 2 in there. so it's possible, just not comfortable. and also, they make colored contacts with the prescription in them. my aunt has them.

I dont think you can wear 2 contacts in one eye. It would be very irritating and may fall out.

You could just get a prescription contact that is also colored :)

Why not just wear coloured contacts instead? I've brown eyes and can wear the blue or green ones.

NO...do not do this.

the fitting is the least of your worries...

2 "stacked" soft contact lenses would vield virtually zero oxygen transmission...

...which in the short term increases risk for infection/inflammation and over the long term increases risk of corneal neovascularization and corneal limbal stem cell dysfunction

everytime i log in i find weird questions but i like it...i never thought of that 2 contacts in one eye...i might try it some day :) just playing

no, sorry. it wouldn't work. The outter one would shift and cause major eye irritation etc.

I have heard of that w/ a hard lens and a soft lens... but not w/ two soft lenses.

it feels wierd ull notice as soon as you put them on and they would slide around in your eye if you were to where them
