Cat or a dog?

I have two dogs and three cats, but I like cats more. I'm a cat kinda person, hubby is a dog kinda person..

It depends on your lifestyle and what YOU prefer. I have both. I have a 6 mo. yellow lab named buddy, and a 4 month border collie mix named Bailey. I also have a 3 year old Main Coon cat named Mao. Mao thinks he is a dog and plays fetch. Dogs need alot more discipline and exercise than cats do. I got my cat when I lived in a small apartment because I didn't think it would be fair to keep a dog inside while I worked all day. Fast forward 2 years and I bought a house with a back yard so now I have dogs! They are all great in totally different ways, so I definitely say both:)

I would prefer a cat but have a dog because I have 3 boys and think every boy should grow up with a dog.

Dog, dogs are much more fun animals to be around. Just think you cant play fetch with a cat.

I never liked cats so I would rather have a dog.

Both!! I have 3 cats and 2 dogs I love them all! (I do prefer dogs, although i used to prefer cats) Cats can be left alone and be okay with it...but they also have yucky litter boxes.
dogs need walks, and so much attention and dont like to be left home, but they are so much more like my babies (my cats are too they just dont want to be cuddled all the time)
to each their own!

i would totally get a dog after all they are mans best friend. dogs are so much cuter than cat anyways. they are also a all around better pet and i would know i have 9 of them.

I own both. I have 3 American Eskimos and 4 Cats.
Note to person who said you can't play fetch with a cat. I have a cat now that we play fetch with all the time. He love twists ties and will bring them to us to throw them. We throw them and he brings them back. I also had a cat when I was a kid that did the same thing, except with hair ties!

A dog... cats are pretty much "dog food" and they stink up a home in no time lol get a dog. You well have a friend for life, cats do nothing but pee stink and scratch things lol
