This was one of my questions that got deleted so I'm trying again. Addmittedly, it's not as funny since all the "Oh my God" questions were asked like an hour ago.

"COW" is an English word. Hindu Religious texts are not in English-they are in Sanskrit. What is sacred for Hindus Is "GO" in Sanskrit."GO" means--Cow--Earth--Wealth--Intelligence--giver of longivity(GOURI)---Divinity----(see Monier Williams)---all are important for a person of ANY RELIGION-NOT FOR HINDUS ALONE.Europians went in search of Colonies for Wealth (GO)only--Many Religious(?!!)warriors plundered other countries for Wealth(GO)--Pirates are looting other ships for wealth (GO) only. Persons with very low I.Q. are deliberately spreading the falsehood that instead of Go--cow is Holy to Hindus.

GO means cow,Earth,Wealth,Intelligence,Giver of longivity,Divinity is missing in the main post

Get a grip sweetheart. I say Holy cow because I've said it all my life. I dont now nor have I ever known a Hindu. If I ever meet one, I'll know better than to insult his religion. In the meantime, I have so many more things to think about. Geez.

NO, the history of the cow being sacred was from famine they had to preseve it so that they wouldn't be extinct and thus the cow became sacred.--this is a little iffy though the story went something like in this manner.

I guess we're all Pagans too since the seven days of the week are named after Pagan gods.

I take it your question was in response to yet another person claiming that anybody who uses the expression "Oh my God" or "God dammit" must be theistic?

It could mean you are Asatru, as it would be a fitting exclamation to honor Audhumla the "cosmic cow." *chuckle*
