When we are on our knees praying to God, the devil is powerless. Yes, he hears our prayers and yes, it is his plan to disrupt God's plans so we won't glorify Him. Just remember that God is all powerful and the devil can't do one thing to us unless God permits it for our own good! So, keep praying and back that devil in a corner!

Only God knows the true desires of your heat. Not the devil. Prayer is a personal time with you and God. i think that the devil can see your actions outside of your prayer life, and some of these actions may reflect the desires of your heart. I think this is when he tries to tempt you and stear you away from your desires. But only God can hear your prayers

When we speak our prayers, the devil may be able to hear them. I don't remember the Bible saying anything directly on this. Bur Daniel prayed, and the angel with the answer was delayed by a power (demon). But Daniel persisted, and God sent Michael to help. (Daniel 10:7-14). So Maybe the devil can. But if so, God has a purpose in it, and if God wouldn't want the devil to hear, then he wouldn't.

I believe that the devil can hear bits and parts, in that, during our prayer offering, he does try to distract us, make us too tired to finish, leave out parts of prayers, and being an overall nuisance.
And that is the devil's job - to confuse and divide us from God in whatever fashion he can devise, and if it means to interject some idea into your head when you're earnestly presenting your prayers to God, well, then the devil has done his work.
Just ask for strength when praying, to avoid interference from the devil and his ways, and God will give you the ability to move forward with your prayers, complete and from the heart.

Neither of them can, and neither of them can show themselves. If God can not answer you , what makes you think that the devil can? If one of them exist then they both do. In all reality prayer to either of them will not work. Meditate on what you want and get it done by physically working on it. God will not do anything for you unless you do it yourself. The same goes for the other. You want good then do good and what you want will come. even then good people get killed all the time after living a church life. wr is god to save them? not there, here or anywhere. Does not exist. Believe in good and bad, and not god and evil cause they do not exist.

I think (in love and respect to all of the above) you are wrong. I do not think he can hear our prayers to God. When we pray we do so by using the tool God gave us called the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit dwells in our heart which is not of the flesh. He speaks to the Father for us in ways no man can understand. As for the Devil it is as the young generation calls it "NUNYA!!" Translation meaning none of your business. Now however, since we are in the flesh, as we kneel to our knees, in reverence to the Savoir, that may catch the Devil's eye. Big deal................

Yes, if you say your prayers out loud Satan can hear them. He also watches to see what TV shows and movies we watch, if we love violence and sexual things then yes he will do all he can do get you to sin as much as possible.
Satan owns the world, why do you think things are getting so bad now? Every day we get further and further away from perfection.
1 John 5:19 - We know we originate with God, but the whole world is lying in the [power of the] wicked one.
Luke 4:6 - and the Devil said to him: “I will give you all this authority and the glory of them, because it has been delivered to me, and to whomever I wish I give it."

The enemy of our souls has been around a long long while, and is very adept at his "methodology" (Greek word used in Ephesians 6) to get us to stumble.
Whether he can hear our prayers or not is a moot point, as he has observed numerous believers, including Job, and has a very effective stratagem to get us to fail.
Luckily, God hears our prayers, and gives us the grace we need to overcome every single time.
So it really doesn't matter that Satan knows our prayers. Where sin abounds, God's grace does more abound.
When God's on your side, you cannot lose.

Earthly wants are material things, asking for food, a place to stay, clothing are to be given to us by our brothers and sisters in Christ,
The devil does answers prayers, for he is the prince of this world " And the devil taketh him to an exceedingly high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and the glory therein, in a moments time ----- and said-----
All this I give to you ----- for it has been delivered unto me and to whosoever I will, I give it.
Does this story of the temptation of Jesus Christ sound familiar, it should, it happened to Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, his 12 sons, and Moses. ----- But Jesus did not want to be king on earth, he said my kingdom is not of this world.
Did your parents tell you to stay in school, get an education, and get a good job, so your life would be better than theirs, this is the devil answering prayers, for Jesus said "As Moses lifted up the serpent (devil) in the wilderness so must the Son of man be lifted up

The devil has all the same attributes as angels (abilities, limitations). He is NOT omnipotent nor omniscient nor omnipresent. He does have demons (other fallen angels) who do eavesdrop, follow people around and listen and observe what we do and say - they CANNOT read our minds.
But if one of his demons knows what you like, yes, he can use that as a temptation for you.
