I need to know if a church is a public place.

Last Sunday when we were doing our thing at church when some folk came and parked their trucks on church space. OK, I´m a Born Again Christian so as you know.

These people said there was nothing illegal because a church carpark is public land. We did not know if they were right or wrong. I got an axe handle and broke their lights anyway. One guy with a new Ford started shouting and spoiling the restful religious vibes, so Pastor Deke fixed his windshield with a cinderblock.

Is there a Born Again lawyer who can clear this up?

This happens to fall within my area of ex spurt tease.

I can prove that a church car-park is not public.

Years ago my girlfriend Brunhilda Schmaltz and I used to make whoopie in the back seat of my Whippet model 94 in the church parking lot while her dad preached inside. Brunhilda was a modest child as well as a PK, and she would never have done such a thing in a public place. QED.

If the church owns the land or rents the space it's not public property. This has been settled in many court cases across the U.S. The only public property are local, city, and state property. Even the store own the property where their customers Park and can be held liable for thing on their property. Your actions though were not Christian. You should have called the police.
