I think any extremist has mental issues. Normal thinking people don't act that way. I won't say the same about Christian fundamentalists. They have their own ideas but as long as they are not violent and don't force their ideas on me, I don't care.

Yes their thinking is bizzare. I am not sure if it is mental illness, or maybe an inferiority complex. They are many times not the most successful people in life...so cling to religion as a crutch, to give them worth....so, that they can feel that they are justified in judging others...the way they are judged by the world. That they need not have success in the world, because they are promised a heaven where streets are paved with gold, etc...

I am a Fundamental Christian. I do not like being regarded as the same as an extremist. I will not kill you for talking your mind. I will not force you to believe as I believe. The fact that you have this view is sad. I hope some day you will come to see the difference but most likely not.

I'm a Christian fundamentalist. And although I agree my thinking may be kind of bazaar at times. I'm still a lovely person.
