Anton LeVey invented "satanism" - so to speak.
True, it's been around a lot longer than Anton, but it has evolved and changed over the centuries.
Satanism is not worship of satan. It is worship of the self. They see themselves as gods.
But since Hollywood is Hollywood and all about entertaining - not facts - Hollywood continues to perpetuate the stereotype that satanism worships satan.
