The Qu'ran refers to the trinity as being polytheism. It also refers to Mary as being a part of the trinity te doctrine of the trintiy was first told by Moses int he first scriptures God gave ot man in the very creation of man who is ONE being but he was made in the image of God with both flesh and spirit. Man was not made int he image of God being a multiple being with more than one mind but a body and a spirit and being a living soul and this is ONE man. God is Father, Son and Holy spirit and is ONE God. Wy didn't Allah understand the doctrine of the trinity?

Christiana I agree, Muhammad is worshipped and they deny this but it seems apparent Allah could not speak a true word but through Muhammad and he is dead therefore no new message form Allah, Allah is completely dependant on Muhammad...and they calim they do not worship a man.

Muslim Rose I speak as one who has read in the Qu'ran the meaning of trinity.
Do you deny that the Quran calls the worship of the trinity the worship of more than one God? Am I wrong when I say that it refered to the trinity as Jesus, Mary and God? You claim the doctrine of the trintiy was invented after Christianity and I say we worship the same God that Moses spoke to who said let US create man In OUR image. Then he formed man from the dust(flesh) and breathed in life(spirit) and man became a living soul. This is the exact image of God who is Father Son and Holy Spirit but are ONE God. this si not worisping more than ONE God it is the same God that Moses talked to and the same God that Abraham spoke to when he said the lord would provide himself a lamb. god is One alsways was One and always will be ONE and we are mde int his image more than mere flesh above the animals but also with an eternal spirit. None the less we are one man and he is one God...

Fida, you need to seriously reread the Bible as Christ never denied being the Son Of God, as a matter of fact he tells everyone who can understand he IS the Son of God and even the demons knew him..Please reread the true word of God.

John 9:35 Jesus heard that they had cast him out; and when he had found him, he said unto him, Dost thou believe on the Son of God?
36 He answered and said, Who is he, Lord, that I might believe on him?
37 And Jesus said unto him, Thou hast both seen him, and it is he that talketh with thee.
38 And he said, Lord, I believe. And he worshipped him.

Muhammad, God is ONE no true Christian denies this and the words are all of the prophets but the man you think a prophet called Muhammad. Moses brought the first scriptures and Moses did show that God is One but that God is the US who refered to creating man is their image. If we read the true word of God that he first spoke ot Moses we see man is more than mere flesh and this is the image of God. Why did Moses demonstrate this if Moses did not believe it to be true? We are definitely more tham mere flesh and above the animals are we not? does the fact that man has an eternal spirit make him more than one man? this was told by Moses...All prophets of God are in agreement. Why would a man call himself a prophet of God and not understand this? all prophets of God agreed with God and the other prophets.
My question remains why did Allah not understand the doctrine of the trinty? Even if Allah did not agree he is suposed to be all knowing but your Allah doesnt understand the doctrine.

Muhammad you seem to be making the same mistake as Muhammad the one who calls himself a prophet of God.
Christians believe God is ONE. Chrsit also believed God is ONE.. this is the problem wiht Muhammad and Allah they think the trinity means more than one God and it does not. We agree that God is ONE... The doctrine of the trinity does not mean God is more than ONE..Why wouldnt an all knowing Allah know this?

Muhamamd, Joseph Smith like Muhammad disagree with the word of God, this does eliminate any man including Muhamamd from being a prophet of God. Moses taught this that a Propeht would agree with the prophets of God and with the word of God... If amna claims to be a prophet of God and disagrees with the word of God this man is a false prophet. This fits both Muhammad and Joseph Smith.

Muhammad I would invite you to read the true word of God as spoken to Moses... Let US create man in OOUR image...continue on to read the creation of man in this image and do explain to me how Moses decided that the image of God was that man was more than flesh but also a spirit...God si more than one part but is ONE amn Is one but is not merelyl flesh but also has an eternal spirit...Explain how Moses meant this to refer to the Image of God?
Mose knew God and so did Abraham and Christ...Muhammad does nto agree with these prophets and does not understand the doctrine of the trinity.

Knowing You keep aying Allah is God and i know Allah claims to be the God thatw as before Muhamamd but this difference among others make it clear they are different gods. The God of Abraham did not deny the Lamb of God who was foretold from the the first book of Moses.

Adamjer you prove my point. Of course Moses and Jesus agree that God is one. Christians too believe God is one.
Moses taught God is one and we are made in his image. again I reapeat man is flesh and spirit and are a living soul..thisd does not make man more than one...God also is Father, Son and Holy spirit and they are One God. Moses taught this and so did Jesus and is what Chrsitians believe...My question remains why did Muhamamd and his allah not understand what the true God before Muhamamd taught?

Sternchen I feel reasonably sure Muhammad did not understand the doctrine of trinity. It is clear that the Qu'ran taught trinity as refering to Mary therfore I would say Allah himself surely did not understand trinity. When the Qu'ran says Jesus is not the Son of God it surely teaches against the doctrine of the trinity. What suprises me most is the God of Abraham would have had to have understood the doctrine having told Moses of how man was created in this image... Abrham saying God would provide himself a lamb...We who know the true God and that he is righteous can easily recognize the lamb would have had to be perfect and no man is perfect but Christ who is the Son of God and a part of the whole of God

Muhammed spoke out against this heretical understanding and was right to do so. But he has not answered to true Christianity. So we cannot accept him as speaking with a message from God. He didn't understand what the Bible says "is true". As you say Trinity is not polytheism. Mary was never considered a deity in Christianity. The Qur'an speaks out against "Tri-theism" [three gods - 5:116,72,73],
One can wonder about the Qur'anic "priorities" about the issues it decides to deal with. Not what one would expect in a final revelation with a claim to universal relevance
Muslims have developed many reasons to reject the Trinity. Most of these reasons try to disprove the Trinity from the Bible. It is obvious that all this reasoning is the reasoning of Muslims and not the reasoning of the Qur'an.
The Qur'an only gives a number of statements negating certain false teachings but does not even offer any reasoning on the matter of the tri-theistic misunderstanding, and certainly nothing in regard to the doctrine of the Trinity. Denial is not the same as explanation and clarification.

Allah does understand the false claim of trinity and everything else in this universe. Allah has promised a hell fire for those who write their thinking as religion and again claim that is from God since they indeed know it is not from God.
So your question would have been Does Islam (not Allah) accept trinity. and we say to you NO. There is only one almighty God. I swear that neither Moses not Jesus peace and blessing of Allah be upon them have never said or talk about trinity. Both they told their people that there is only one God and they are messengers of God.
Edit.
I did not prove your point as long as you differentiate the God of Jesus and Mohamed peace be upon them. They have one God that reject what you call a trinity. You know as well that trinity had been invented by John more than 200 years after Jesus. It is far from truth and sinful to say that Jesus and Moses peace be upon them believed in trinity.

a larger translation of the verses quoted: four:171 O People of the Book! Commit no excesses for your faith: Nor say of Allah aught however the reality. Christ Jesus the son of Mary was once (not more than) an apostle of Allah, and His Word, which He bestowed on Mary, and a spirit continuing from Him: so feel in Allah and His apostles. Say no longer "Trinity" : desist: it's going to be larger for you: for Allah is one Allah. Glory be to Him: (a ways exalted is He) above having a son. To Him belong all matters within the heavens and on the earth. And sufficient is Allah as a Disposer of affairs. (interpretation) emphasis is located on worshiping the only God and no longer associating any companions with God...this verse additionally confirms the remarkable beginning via Mary and Jesus was once a prophet of God.... five:116 And behold! Allah will say: "O Jesus the son of Mary! Didst thou say unto guys, worship me and my mom as gods in derogation of Allah.?" He will say: "Glory to Thee! in no way would I say what I had no correct (to mention). Had I stated any such factor, thou wouldst certainly have identified it. Thou knowest what's in my middle, Thou I recognize no longer what's in Thine. For Thou knowest in complete all that's hidden. (interpretation) it reveals the devotion of Jesus to God and to exhibit us that he's not more than a Prophet of God... Islam does no longer feel in trinity...it does feel within the remarkable beginning of Esa aka Jesus (peace be upon him) and identifies him as probably the most respected prophets of God....all Muslims feel he'll be again earlier than resurrection and the day of judgement...

Allah had nothing to do with it. Muhammad understood it perfectly well, which is why the Qur'an says what it says. The Qur'an has errors, but that is not one of them.

I see Mohammed, the cut and paste king, has struck again. ^^
Islam is polytheistic and full of idol worship itself. You have the ka'ba, the black stone within it that Muslims revere. Then, Mohammed is worshiped almost as feverently as Allah, and one faces greater reprocussion from speaking ill of Mohammed than of Allah. Maybe not quite a trinity, but there are some hyporcritical things going on in Islam any sane person can see that.
