No, not ALL wars that have ever been or will be.
* Religion / Beliefs / Ethics / Ideology
* Power / Control
* Greed
* Territory (aka land)
* Violent Survival (aka hording of resources such as food)
* More Labor (aka Slaves)
* Personal feuds among royalty or groups (aka love)
Wars can be started and carried out due to one of the above mentioned or any combination of them including ALL.
;-)
There may have been two that I missed putting up on that list ... feel free to expand.
;-)

If there were no religion, I don't know if there would be no wars at all, but there would generally be a lot less conflict. Religion is exclusionary by nature. People are willing to die because they think something else comes after. When you start believing fictions like "eternal life" and such rubbish are at stake, things are going to get more extreme.
Why the hell should I give you a star?

No. The last wars of any significance that were fought on religious grounds were the Thirty Years War and the British civil war in the 17th century. Wars since then have been fought for political or economic reasons, with the US Revolutionary War, the Civil War, and the two World wars being obvious examples; religion had no part in any of them.

no, I don't. I think religion just provides opportunities to feel save with one's uncertainties and to project them on others. I believe that all religions have the potential to establish a spiritual basis for mutual understanding.

To agree, would be extreme, but it has led to major conflicts, in our society. It has been that way, since the beginning, of time, and the problem, is not religion itself, but the mindset that my religious beliefs, trump yours. This thinking, is not only dangerous, but is responsible for much of the chaos, which we now, face.

It has not always been about religion, it used to just be about expanding empires. Alexander the Great didn't care what religion you were he just wanted to rule more land.

No, greed is the ultimate reason. Religion is only used as a disguise to fuel their real agendas.
