Do they not realize that is my open mind that is not allowing me to to believe in a system that automatically disqualifies any type of dissent and tells all non believers that they are to be banished to hell when they die.

is that not the very definition of "narrow-mindedness". How can a christian accuse anyone of not having an open mind? Much less an atheist who treats all religions equally?

they want you to open your mind to them. they cannot comprehend how you can live without their crutch.

you probably laugh evertime you see the christian bumper sticker "swim against the flow". um, how many people are christian? how the hell are you swimming against anything?

It has to do with being willing to accept their point of view. Anyone with a truly 'open-mind', is capable of understanding that all points-of-view are valid; because any attempt at invalidation tries to Usurp another's freedoms.
