Take him to the vet, these are symptoms you would need to see a vet for.

I've had good experience of this type of thing, having kept Yorkies for over 30yrs! What you are describing, is one of those well known Yorkie 'things'. One minute, they're dashing about like a mop on castors; the next minute, they're either 'off colour', sick, constipated ... or they have diarrhoea! Let's face it, they may be terriers - but they are a small breed and are well renowned for their fair share of gastric upsets, chills, and even 'nervous' upsets! I wouldn't worry unduly at this stage. Matters have a habit of righting themselves. This damp and windy weather also doesn't help ... at the beginning of July!

Make sure your Yorkie has plenty of water available. If he gets a good summer 'soaking', always dry him well underneath with a warm dry towel. Should these problems persist, please consult your vet. This type of freak weather always carries its fair share of viruses ... and who better to pick something up than a Yorkshire terrier; he is rather close to the ground, after all! Tempt him with a little cooked chicken if he's up to it. As I said earlier, if he still isn't himself in a day or two, the vet is the best person to solve the problem.

Hope your Yorkie's yapping fit in no time!!!

All the best, Mo & pets

I have a Yorkie that used to get colicky from time to time. She would go off her food and seem uncomfortable and constipated. It may seem strange but I used to cut her a little young fresh grass and offer in a dish, she would eat some of this and it definitely helped her open her bowels. Once she had been her normal appetite would return.
Over time I realised if she has an off food day don't worry about it it is common with Yorke's. Don't offer different diet or goodies to tempt them to eat you will make there discomfort worse. Even when they are OK avoid ever giving ANY treats, titbit's and leftovers between meals, especially cheese and milk. Sadly for them this will cause regular discomfort for some little dogs.
Always have fresh water available for your dog.

well I'll try to help you I have yorkies and well sometimes they have their nose wet but is normal yea its like a runny nose maybe the air is to cold or means the dogs sniffer is active which causes the wet nose .there is a myth that a dog's nose should be cold and wet. And, is true that a cold, wet nose can be a sign of good health in a dog, but it's not a completely reliable. And he needs to eat at least the amount of food that is the size of his head; try to offer him the food grab a bit and see if he eats it or mix it with something he likes maybe something sweet In this case the food must dogs can't resist to eat is windixie Cesar is a dog food go to your nearest Windixie and go to the dog products line and buy this food is like a treat similar to can food but they love it mines don't eat ca food but they enjoy this its called Cesar and somewhere on it it says windixie because they are the one's who make this try this if their are no positieve results here I'm going to give you a phone number to ask about your puppy just tell them the symptoms that are
wet nose
not eating
and not himself (explain)

But tell me in what state and city you are located in send me an e-mail or add it to your details

if he's not opening his bowel then he needs moe liquid in his diet, give him a couple of days with extra water and maybe even mix some of his meat with a little hot water to make it easier for him to eat, if there is no improvement in two days max then get him to a vet,
other than that dogs thrive on love and attention so plenty of hugs may help too
all the best

Dont waste time asking questions on here and do the responsible thing by getting the little mite to the vet. You are aware your dog is ill.

Mine's the same.... it's the weather partly.

They don't need to eat every day...they're only little!

Think about it... what is there for it to sh!t if it's not eaten?

Also, like most dogs, the can sh!t and puke on demand....just wait and see!

Don't worry.
